Give yourself permission to slow down. 🌿

You don’t have to accomplish everything today. Sometimes, taking a step back, taking a breath, and giving yourself time to reset is exactly what you need.

Slowing down isn’t falling behind. It’s making space to recharge, refocus, and take care of yourself.

This Sunday, give yourself permission to pause. You deserve it.

Sleep is more than just getting through the night. 💤🧠

Quality sleep can play an important role in our mental health, including how we manage stress, anxiety, and our overall well-being.

So, Fun Fact Friday reminder: sleep is part of taking care of your mind, too. 💙

How many hours of sleep do you usually get? 👇🏽

National Dog Day 🐾

Meet some of the CRS team’s cutest coworkers—no badge required. 🐶

Our staff shared photos of their dogs for National Dog Day, and we couldn’t resist giving these four-legged family members their moment in the spotlight.

They may not answer emails or attend meetings, but they’re pretty great at companionship, comic relief, and making sure their humans know who’s really in charge. 😂

Happy National Dog Day from CRS! ❤️

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL REMINDER: STOP COMPARING. START DOING.

A new school year can come with a lot of pressure — grades, expectations, friendships, and the feeling that everyone else has it figured out. 🧠

Tami Boutwell, MS, LPC-C, Community-Based Child & Adolescent Therapist, has a reminder worth keeping in your back pocket: don’t compare yourself.

Each day brings something different. What matters isn’t always the outcome — it’s that you keep showing up and keep doing. 💪

Big step or small step, it still counts. Celebrate the progress you make along the way. 👏✨

We are so proud of this partnership and thrilled to have Christina Hutton, LPC, representing CRS at The Common Good! 🙌

Making compassionate, accessible mental health care available right in the heart of our community is at the core of what we do. Through our partnership at The HUB, community members, families, and children can easily connect with dedicated care.

Please join us in celebrating Christina as she brings her expertise, warmth, and trauma-informed care to Northwest Tulsa!

🌟 Please join us in welcoming Christina Hutton to The Common Good team! 🌟

Christina joins The Common Good as our new on-site Therapist through our partnership with Counseling + Recovery Services. This partnership allows us to provide access to mental health services right here at The HUB for children, families, senior adults, and others in our community. 💙

A little more about Christina:
• Credentials: LPC, IDD-MH, RPT-C, IMH-C 🧠
• Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma 🎓 Boomer!
• Originally from San Antonio, Texas, and has called Tulsa County home for the past 20 years 🏡
• Enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, gardening, home projects, and making memories with the people she loves 🌱🐾

Christina brings experience in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, with areas of focus that include neurodivergence, attachment, family systems, grief and loss, and lifespan development. At the heart of her work is a belief that every person has a story worth understanding and strengths worth recognizing. 💛

When asked what connects her to The Common Good, Christina shared:
“What I connect with most at The HUB is the sense of community. The HUB creates a space where people can come as they are, feel safe, seen, and accepted, and know they don’t have to navigate life alone.”

💡 Did you know? You can schedule an appointment with a therapist through Counseling & Recovery Services right here on The Common Good campus. Counseling & Recovery Services accepts SoonerCare, helping make mental health support more accessible to members of our community.

Welcome to The Common Good, Christina! 🎉 We are so glad you’re here and excited to see the impact you’ll make in our Northwest Tulsa community! 💙

You don’t have to have it all together. And honestly? Nobody does.

Some days you’re thriving. Some days you’re just getting through it. Both are okay. 💙

So, for this Monday, check in with yourself: What do you need more of this week—rest, support, patience, or a little time for yourself?

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL ≠ JUST SCHOOL.

New routines. 📚 New people. 👋 New pressure. 🧠 New emotions.

And if the first-day nerves are hitting… you’re definitely not the only one.

Brandi Aragon, LPC-C, School Embedded Therapist, has a reminder for students heading back: those butterflies don’t always mean “I’m nervous.” Sometimes, they’re excitement waiting to happen. 🎢✨

Take a breath. Shift your perspective. Show up as YOU. 💪

And remember — CRS is here when you need support. 💚
