🪏 BREAKING GROUND FOR FIRST RESPONDER HEALTH🪏

🏗️ Yesterday, we celebrated the official groundbreaking and announcement of the construction of Cardio Pulmonary Diagnostics’ brand-new Medical Arts Building at 748 Spring St. in Elizabeth, NJ!

↪️This milestone comes right on the heels of another exciting expansion—the opening of CardioPulmonary Diagnostic, LLC new office location in Hamilton, NJ! Together, these developments mark incredible progress in making high-quality, specialized healthcare even more accessible across the state.

🏥This state-of-the-art facility in Elizabeth will serve as the future home of Captain's Gift - The Captain Dominick Buscio Program, a vital initiative dedicated to providing life-saving cardiovascular and pulmonary health testing for active and retired first responders who face high-stress environments and unique health risks. Programs like this are crucial in ensuring our members get the proactive, specialized care they need and deserve.

🎉A huge congratulations to Dr. Patel and his entire team for their visionary leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the PFANJ and for expanding healthcare access for the state's entire first responder community!

👨‍🚒New Jersey Firefighters PFANJ 2nd Vice President Dave Hines and Treasurer Greg Swanson were on hand for the ceremony to support this incredible milestone for all first responders across the state.

Twenty-five years later, we carry the memory of that fateful day and the heavy toll that continues to follow.

Today, we honor the 343 International Association of Fire Fighters brothers of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001, answering the call without hesitation. We also remember and stand with the countless brothers and sisters who have answered the call since—those who returned to the pile, breathed the toxic air, and have since lost their lives to illness or continue to fight brave battles today.

We also remember every civilian taken from us that day in New York City, Washington, DC, and Shanksville. The courage displayed across our nation will never be surpassed.

We will never forget.

👨‍🚒STANDING UP FOR NJ FIRST RESPONDERS AND LABOR 💪

🙏Huge thanks to Rep Josh Gottheimer for inviting the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ) to today’s Labor Roundtable. It was a vital opportunity to discuss how he can continue to stand with labor and address the critical issues facing our unions across the state.

🔥2nd VP, Dave Hines, proudly represented the PFANJ at the table, bringing crucial issues to the forefront:

-Fire Apparatus Crisis: Highlighting how aging fleets and equipment shortages directly impact firefighter safety and response capabilities in our local communities.

-Staffing Needs: Discussing chronic staffing shortages and the urgent need for minimum manning.

-OSHA's Emergency Response Standard: Advocating for the life-saving benefits of the proposed OSHA standard to ensure modern safety protections for all responders.

🤝Thank you, Congressman Gottheimer, for your continued engagement and dedication to supporting New Jersey’s labor workforce.
