Children's Futures Children's Futures is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization focused on improving health and development outcomes for children and their families.

We do this by: engaging community partners to help break down family isolation; building trust among residents; Created in 2001 by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Children's Futures works across Central Jersey to ensure that all children and families get off to a healthy start in life. At our core, we aim to increase opportunities for health and wellness and to ward off health and social problems that can lead to a lifetime of illness and dependency.

Calling all Doulas! Join Children’s Futures for an evening of learning and connection on October 13 from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Dr. Ashauna of I Am Unique will be presenting, and attendees will receive a certificate for one continuing education (CEU) credit.

This meeting is open to all Doulas, but space is limited. Only the first 30 registered participants will be able to attend, so be sure to register early!

Two trips, a 26-foot U-Haul, and about 10 hours of teamwork, all to bring donations to families in our community!

On Sunday, September 27, Children’s Futures staff and our Outreach Street Team joined our community partner, Just Between Friends, for our semi-annual donation pickup. Together, the teams loaded and unloaded books, clothing, toys, shoes, cribs, Pack ’n Plays, highchairs, and household items.

These donations will be available to local families through Children’s Futures Case Managers.

Thank you to Just Between Friends for your continued generosity, and to everyone who helped make this pickup possible. Your time and hard work make a difference for the families we serve!
