June 1 Marks the Deadline in Kansas to Change Party Affiliation

Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab reminds Kansans wishing to change their political party affiliation to do so by June 1. Voters can change their affiliation by visiting votekansas.gov and updating your voter information by completing a new voter registration application. Voters may also submit a paper application to their local county election office.

The primary election will be held on August 4. Regardless of party affiliation, all eligible voters may vote on the constitutional amendment appearing on the August ballot.

AIA Flint Hills Tour Showcases the Transformation of CiCo Park!

On May 14, AIA Flint Hills members and guests gathered at CiCo Park for a behind-the-scenes look at one of Manhattan’s most significant recent community investments. The noon tour highlighted the park’s newly completed $17 million renovation, a project that is helping shape a new era for recreation and local sports in the region.

The tour was lead by the project architect, Garric Baker, AIA of Baker McMillan Architects Baker McMillan Architects and constructed by AIA Kansas Allied Member, BHS Construction. BHS Construction, Inc. To learn more check out the video.
