🎓 2026 Kansas Troopers Foundation Scholarship Recipient: Brayden Walker

The Kansas Troopers Foundation is proud to recognize Brayden Walker as a 2026 scholarship recipient.

Brayden recently graduated from Southeast of Saline High School, where he excelled in both cross country and track. During his senior year, he helped lead his team to a state championship in cross country while placing second individually at the state meet.

This fall, Brayden will attend Park University and continue competing in track and cross country at the collegiate level.

Congratulations, Brayden! We look forward to seeing all that you accomplish both on and off the course.

🎓 2026 Kansas Troopers Foundation Scholarship Recipient: Taegan Shannon

Congratulations to Taegan Shannon, a 2026 Kansas Troopers Foundation Scholarship recipient.

A native of Ellis, Kan. and a current student at the University of Southern Mississippi, Taegan is pursuing a degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice while maintaining an impressive record of leadership and campus involvement.

Inspired by her father's career as a detective and a passion for justice discovered through mock trial competition, Taegan plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a criminal prosecutor. Her commitment to serving her community through the justice system makes her an outstanding recipient of this year's scholarship.

Congratulations, Taegan, and best wishes as you continue your journey toward a career in law.

🎓 2026 Kansas Troopers Foundation Scholarship Recipient: Emma Kern

Please join us in congratulating Emma Kern on being selected as a 2026 Kansas Troopers Foundation Scholarship recipient. Emma, who grew up in Kechi, Kansas, is pursuing a career in law enforcement and has already gained valuable experience through ride-alongs and an internship with the Kansas Highway Patrol.

After earning her associate degree in criminal justice from Butler Community College, Emma plans to continue her education at Wichita State University, studying both criminal justice and homeland security. Her long-term goal is to serve in law enforcement and work in narcotics enforcement to help combat drug crime.

Congratulations, Emma! We wish you continued success as you pursue your goals and serve others.
