Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15- Oct. 15. Thanks to our amazing members and PSS Davidson Center staff, we got to sample different drinks, finger food, desserts, and breads from Hispanic cultures.

Members enjoyed music from many Hispanic countries and immersed themselves in Hispanic Folklore/Storytelling, played instruments, and learned the importance of kites and how to make some famous dishes.

We got a visit from the director and members of the PSS Andrew Jackson Center and Council Member Justin Sanchez and his District 17 team joined the celebration! So very grateful to show off our center heritage and spirit!

It's World Alzheimer's Day and to mark the occasion, members of PSS Davidson OAC received purple T-shirts and an educational presentation about the condition.

Building connections in the Bronx! PSS was proud to join City Council Member Justin Sanchez of District 17 for his Back-to-School & Permanent Office Opening Block Party on September 1 at his new office at 1307 Southern Blvd.

PSS’s own Miguel Suarez (Program Director, PSS Andrew Jackson Center) and Vanessa Santiago (Program Director, PSS Davidson Center) had the opportunity to meet with Councilmember Sanchez, share important info about PSS programs and services with community members at the Councilmember’s info table, and connect with local organizations.

PSS was excited to tour the Councilmember’s new office and explore opportunities to partner on future community events and initiatives.
