Last Hope Rescue Florida

Last Hope Rescue is an all volunteer animal rescue organization based in Tallahassee, Fl. dedicated to saving the lives of homeless dogs.

Last Hope Rescue provides:
1) Rescue by means of transfer, foster care, veterinary care and sterilization for animals that would otherwise be euthanized.
2) Assistance to other animal rescues and shelters throughout the state of Florida.
3) Foster care for surrendered animals whose owners can no longer provide for the pet or no longer wish to have them.
4) Adoption of rescued p

ets to qualified homes that have been properly screened by adoption coordinators and foster parents to maintain the pet in a home best suited for the lifetime of the animal.
5) Education in the community in terms of responsible pet care, ownership and animal welfare.

Remember that cute bundle of sweetness, Tatiana? She's been ADOPTED! Tatiana has been living the good life in a foster home and her awesome foster decided to make it official! We couldn't be happier for Tatiana and her forever family. Happy tails, sweet girl, and we can't wait to hear pupdates!

Meet Caper! (He is NOT available for adoption yet.) This sweet boy has come to us as a stray, with no chip and no owner coming for him. Unfortunately he has heartworms, among a few other things. He will be with a foster while he goes through treatment, then will need to be neutered. Once he’s healthy, we’ll post him for adoption. In the meantime we wanted to share and say welcome Caper!!

🐶 Meet Kahn 🐶
3-year-old Boxer Mix

Let us introduce you to Kahn, a truly special boy with the sweetest soul. Kahn has a gentle, quiet disposition — he doesn’t bark, is a bit timid, and has a calm presence that makes him an absolute joy to be around. He is about 40 lbs, and is great with other dogs!

Kahn previously lived with a family and is accustomed to children. Due to changes at home, his family made the difficult decision to rehome him, and now he’s patiently waiting for his next forever family.

In his foster home, Kahn has shown that he’s perfectly content in a quieter household and does very well staying home on his own during the day. He enjoys peaceful walks, loves to be cuddled and babied, and thrives on gentle affection.

Kahn is the kind of dog who gives back far more love than he asks for. He’s easygoing, affectionate, and incredibly loyal — the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, loving addition to their family.

If you’re looking for a dog with a heart of gold and endless love to give, Kahn might just be your perfect match. 💙

Welcome to the rescue, Ladybug! This sassy senior came to us in pretty sad shape with terribly matted fur and being severely underweight. After receiving loving care from South Monroe Animal Hospital, she's now enjoying regular meals, comfy beds, and a new pack of friends at her foster home. Ladybug is about 10 years old and only has 4 teeth, one of which adorably sticks out, but she doesn't let any of that slow her down. She loves to sniff all the smells in the yard, gnaw on the big dog bone, hop up into the dog toy basket like she's E.T., ignore the resident cats who are trying to figure out who she is, and snuggle up to her foster sister in the big dog bed. She may enjoy all these other activities, but her favorite is curling up in her foster Mom's lap every evening.
