Florida's congressional map already silences the voices of thousands of Floridians. That's why Florida voters have spent the past five years in court challenging the current maps for violating the Fair Districts Amendment.

Now, some Florida legislators and Gov. DeSantis are following President Trump's signals to rig the midterms by unfairly drawing maps that favor them.

They are afraid of voters like you.

They are afraid of losing power in 2026.

President Trump and his allies in Congress already “defunded” Planned Parenthood in their big, not at all beautiful bill, last year, a move that is currently harming millions of patients’ ability to get essential health care, including birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and more, at Planned Parenthood health centers.

Also included in President Trump’s budget are proposals to dismantle many key s*xual and reproductive health care programs, including:

❌ Elimination of the Title X Family Planning Program, the nation’s only federal program dedicated to providing affordable birth control, cancer screenings, and s*xual and reproductive health care.

❌ Elimination of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program, which provides funds for evidence-based s*x education.

🔒 Codification of the Trump administration’s aggressive and dangerous expansion of the global gag rule.

❌ Elimination of international family planning and reproductive health care programs, which serve millions of women each year and avert 34,000 preventable maternal deaths annually.

As always, this budget isn’t a bill on track to become law, and Congress ultimately holds the power of the purse. But as a statement of values, the verdict is clear: President Trump and his administration are dead set on taking away people’s access to health care.

Today, we grieve the loss of Nancy Metayer Bowen.

Nancy was a reproductive health champion who led with compassion, conviction, and a deep commitment to community. She showed us that when women step up and lead, we all benefit.

All of us at Planned Parenthood Florida Action are honored to have known and worked with such an amazing woman. As we grieve, we’re holding her loved ones and her community close during this difficult time.

Rest in power, Nancy.
