Billy (aka Pork Belly), born around 11/7/25, is a healthy 10-month-old Pocket American Bully in 📍 Tacoma, WA, looking for his forever home.
Billy had a difficult start and spent much of his early life confined to a crate at a backyard breeder, until he was adopted at 6 months old. That owner told us they couldn’t keep him due to their new HOA not allowing his breed. We took Billy in on 9/9/26, and with patience and routine, he’s quickly become a goofy, playful, brave, cuddly, and affectionate companion.
Billy would thrive in a home where he is encouraged to be social and has the option to be near his people. He came to us scared of his crate, but we are working daily to associate it as a peaceful and safe place so it’s an option when needed. It’s still not his favorite place, but he will now enter willingly, if promised a treat, and often falls asleep in it.
Billy is housebroken and has a predictable potty routine.
Billy has up to date vet records starting at 6 months old through Tahoma Veterinary Hospital. He was neutered and received a double cherry eye surgery there on 9/17/26. Although most of his time with us has been isolated, so he can heal from surgeries, our first week with Billy showed us he absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Billy is eager to meet new dogs when we are out on walks, at a cafe, or at the farmers market, and has shown gentleness with both small and large dogs.
