Welcome to Camp Howard

We invite you to our 67th summer season at Camp Howard. Our 245-acre wilderness setting, with a spectacular view of Mt. Hood, will inspire youth from all walks of life to participate in the various activities provided during a week-long experience. Our seasoned camp staff, including an on-site registered nurse, will contribute to a memorable experience for your youth. Our camp programs are an extension of our Catholic/Christian schools and parish activities. Camp Howard has been in existence since 1952. Camp Howard provides summer camp experiences for children of all backgrounds in a beautiful setting in the Mt. Hood Wilderness. Our staff are passionate and supportive, modeling Christian values into every activity that we offer. Your children will experience an exhilarating full range of summer programs for kids of all ages combined with one-of-a-kind facilities. Campers will gather for great meals, songs and fellowship. CYO/Camp Howard is committed to the dignity and worth of all youth. CYO/Camp Howard enables the gifted to excel and the less gifted to participate and improve. The ultimate responsibility for the success of the program lies with the many adult volunteers who make this program possible. Adults involved in CYO/Camp Howard must remember that the program exists for the Christian growth of young people. Coaches and Camp Staff must be constantly aware of the tremendous influence they have on the youth and should use this opportunity to set a positive Christian example on and away from the court, field and camp.
