There’s been bare minimum movement at the bargaining table, just enough to satisfy their requirement to bargain. It’s been slow, surface-level, and not ENOUGH!

We’re fighting to improve the cannabis industry and raise the standard for ALL CANNABIS WORKERS.

THG’s attorney is fighting to stall those improvements.
The status quo isn’t GOOD ENOUGH!

Workers deserve fair treatment, respect, and a meaningful voice on the job.

And while workers are pushing for progress, THG continues to BREAK FEDERAL LABOR LAW.

“Management made some interesting proposals that we will ruminate on.” — Niki (bargaining committee member)

Nexus workers came to the bargaining table for the second time ready to build a fair first contract. Instead, management came with TAKE AWAYS, ANTI UNION, and RETALIATORY proposals.

Nexus’s proposals:

• Open Shop — weakening union solidarity
• Management Rights — expanding management’s unilateral authority
• Just Cause only for discharge — leaving workers vulnerable to discipline
• Caps on back pay for grievances
• Shorter layoff protections — 6 months from management vs. 18 months proposed by workers
• Elimination of remote work options
• Wage scales with no clear advancement standards beyond employer discretion
• Increased billable hours with no transition plan

But the workers are standing together!

They organized for a reason! To have a meaningful voice, respect in their workplace and to win a strong first contract.

Mott has been a UFCW 367 member for more than three decades. Now at Parkland SAAR's, his career has spanned two different union locals and countless store aisles. The one constant throughout it all? Every day starts with a smile and a readiness to put in the work.

For that, we recently celebrated his tenure with a 30 year pin. The dates might be fuzzy but his dedication is clear.

The Union Plus Education Foundation has awarded more than $6.2 million in scholarships. Since 1991, the program has given out $1,000–$4,000 awards to over 4,400 students from union families who are continuing their education after high school.

Last month UFCW 367 members and staff testified before Tacoma City Council to back raising the minimum wage.

Wages haven't kept up with rent, groceries, or gas. Poverty wages don't keep prices down, they subsidize employer profits by forcing minimum wage workers into social safety nets to survive. Companies post record profits while their employees apply for food stamps. Living wages go straight back into the local economy — rent gets paid, kids get shoes, and small businesses get customers.

Union jobs already pay more than the industry standard and UFCW 367 members are pushing for that floor to rise for every worker in the city. Nobody wins when your neighbor works full-time and still can't make rent.

Good news for UFCW 367 members on the PPO healthcare plan: Premera Blue Cross and MultiCare reached a new agreement at the end of July, so MultiCare providers and facilities stay in-network with Premera.

If you're on the PPO plan, the doctors and care teams you've built relationships with aren't going anywhere.
