🏁 KPR — Kitsap Peninsula Ride

We’ll kick things off at our favorite Tacoma breakfast spot Alfred’s Cafe, starting at 8:30 am, with kickstands up at 9:30 AM.

From there, we’ll cross the Narrows Bridge and head into Gig Harbor, where we’ll meet up with Peninsula and North Sound riders who want to join us.

After meeting up, we’ll cruise through the beautiful, scenic backroads of the Key Peninsula, with a few stops along the way and lunch in Seabeck.

We’ll wrap up the ride with a final stop at The Hub Restaurant at Tacoma Narrows Airport.

Our 3-day Shaun Hunt Memorial Ride is complete. We traveled over 500 miles, made many new memories, and shared even more. On day 1, we traveled down to Hood River Oregon, where we stopped at for some beverages and our first high card draw for a gift card that was graciously donated by them and was won by John C. Later that evening, we had dinner at and did another card draw for a gift card that was graciously donated by them and was won by Barb C. Day 2 led us to Yakima. That evening, we had dinner while watching the Cruising The Ave night that was happening and is always fun. Day 3, we headed back to the West Side over Chinook Pass. After a brief stop at the top, we had lunch at the Naches Tavern, where we crossed paths with another VCOPS member who was leading a 2-day ride with another group. Our final stop of the ride was in Enumclaw, where we did our final card draw for a gift card that was graciously donated by and was won by Jeff C. Thank you to everyone who participated and to the amazing ride sponsors! We still have stickers and coasters available, and we will bring them to our next club meeting as well as on upcoming rides. Next year's 3-day ride will be to Astoria and Ocean Shores. RIP Shaun, we miss and love you🙏🛵

The 3-Day Shaun Hunt Memorial Ride starts tomorrow, and our T-shirt made it just in time. We didn't order any extra of these, but you can order one for yourself with the link below (they are even available in orange 😉). We will have the coasters and stickers with us on the ride tomorrow and will carry the extras with us on future rides. We will be taking donations for the stickers and coasters and will be making a donation to a yet to be determined mental health & su***de prevention organization once they are all gone.

Our 3 Day Shaun Hunt Memorial Ride is only a few days away, and we'd like to thank our sponsors! This Sunday, 7/26, is our monthly club meeting at Terry's Office Tavern starting at 12 pm. Our first bits of club swag have arrived, including stickers and magnets, plus some coasters for our founding members. Hopefully, our club patches will arrive by Sunday as well. Make sure you attend so you can get your membership items, and we will be going over the details of our upcoming 3-day Shaun Hunt Memorial Ride 8/7-9 and more. We had 6 Vespa Club Of Puget Sound members recently attend the Vespa 80th Anniversary in Rome. Jeff and Tessa brought back a bunch of VCOA patches and pins to give away. We will have these available to members at our next meeting on 7/26, AND we have dropped a bunch off at South Sound Scooters South Sound Scooters for anyone to grab while they are available.
