Today our intrepid Secretary and Treasurer headed over to the new Lakewood branch library and started the set up of the Friends’ new Book Nook. They carted a ton of books from our home in the basement over to our new space and still had the energy to set it up. a big cheer and thank you to Mark and Wendy. More pictures and info coming soon.

Edited to add from Wendy: ·
We did not do it by ourselves. Not pictured but helped were Nancy, Pat and her husband. Thank you all

A BIG thank-you to everyone who came to the Book Sale over the weekend. It was a massive success.

A major shout-out to all of our volunteers. It was wonderful to see so many new faces. Couldn't do it without you.

Also, a thank-you to the ever patient library staff for their help.

And, to all the people who helped get the word out, a heartfelt THANK-YOU!
