On this Saturday evening, I just want to remind someone of something…
No matter what this week has looked like, no matter how heavy your heart feels, or how many things you're carrying that nobody else can see, you are not forgotten, you are not alone, and your story isn't over.
Sometimes life doesn't go the way we planned. Sometimes prayers seem unanswered, doors seem closed, and the weight of tomorrow feels like more than we can carry.
But God is still working, even in the waiting. His promises haven't changed, His love hasn't run out, and His grace is still sufficient.
There is a verse that God placed in my heart many years ago, and one that became a light for me during some of my darkest moments:
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7
I've had to lean on that promise more times than I can count. And tonight, I want someone else to be reminded of it.
You don't have to carry it all. You don't have to have all the answers. You don't have to pretend everything is okay. God cares about every detail of your life, even the things you may feel are too small to bring to Him.
Tonight, take a deep breath. Give Him the things you cannot fix, the burdens you cannot carry, and the worries about tomorrow.
There is still hope. There is still purpose. There is still a God who loves you beyond measure.
If this week has been hard, please don't give up. Your darkest chapter does not determine how your story ends.
May you rest tonight knowing that the same God who carried you through yesterday is already holding tomorrow.
You are loved. You are seen. You are not forgotten.
There is joy in the morning and may the sun shine brightly on your life!
