🔦 We Lit up the Way with the Circle of Love Charleston! ❤️

Circle of Love Charleston reached out to us to see how we could help some Summerville neighbors in need. Through our Program “Light Up the Way“, Bike/Walk Board Member Sherley Daniel gave out front and rear lights for those who cannot afford it, or experiencing homelessness in our Town. With every light, we also educated our neighbors on front white and rear red reflectors being required in the state of South Carolina.

Lights allow our neighbors to not only see, but also to be seen at night, and prevent them from being pulled over by police officers as well.
One of our neighbors said this about us: “May God bless you BWS.” “Keep helping your community we need it.”

💸 Help us provide for our town and our homeless residents, with a $10 dollars donation meaning 1 more person gets to Light Up The Way!

The Farmers Market Has Been CANCELLED!

We are sorry to announce that our Farmers Market Ride on October 10th has been cancelled due to severe weather. Don't let this cancellation stop you from visiting the Farmers Market and supporting our local businesses! Stay safe this weekend and we hope to see you at the Nexton Long Ride on October 24th!

MILES JAMISON ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING #2

Dorchester County is proposing to widen Miles Jamison Road and improve associated intersections between Old Trolley Road and Ladson Road. The purpose of this project is to reduce traffic congestion, improve safety, and accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians. An initial public meeting about this project was conducted previously on
November 6th, 2025.

Dorchester County is holding a second public information meeting to provide updated information about the preferred design alternative for the project, and to solicit the public’s feedback.

The public is invited to attend a public information meeting at the date and time listed below to learn more about the project and provide comments.

🚴‍♂️ Sep 12 Ride Recap

We had an amazing time on our ride Saturday! One of our new riders came back to ride with us and we even taught her how to properly use her gear shifters! We were able to see her ride confidently and more comfortably after teaching her! We love supporting other local businesses like public works art center and got to check out their block party after enjoying lunch together!

What is the Farmers Market Ride? It’s a casual, family-friendly group ride that happens every 2nd Saturday where we ride to the Farmers Market and support our local vendors! When we do these rides, we continue to show that bikes can be a mode of transportation when safe to do so and encourage new riders to feel confident on the road!

After our first bench installation on Ashley Dr, we couldn’t stop there! We will have 2more benches installed along the Sawmill Branch Trail between E Carolina Ave and Luden Dr! We are also proud to announce a new rack will be installed on the Trailhead off of E Richardson Ave providing another place to park your bike!
