‼️URGENT‼️. DOC NEEDS A HOME

Doc is quickly approaching his 90-day mark at Chattooga County Animal Control Shelter.

If you’ve ever met a dog who seems genuinely excited just to be alive, that’s Doc.

He’s full of energy, happiness, and enthusiasm. Whether he’s running around the yard, going for a walk, or soaking up attention from volunteers, Doc approaches every day with a wagging tail and a smile. He has a zest for life that’s impossible not to love.

Doc has been waiting far longer than he should have. While other dogs have come and gone, he’s still hoping someone will choose him.

This little kitten came from one of our feral communities. He is having his eye removed today and will go into foster to socialize and get ready to go to rescue..

URGENT HELP NEEDED. IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDED.

While doing trap n release of cats - 3 small kittens were trapped. All were too young and not healthy enough to be spayed or neutered. As a matter of fact the orange tabby has to have the eye removed. We are removing the eye but he will need a place to go.

We are in desperate need of a kitten foster or fosters. These kittens will need to be socialized. Animal advocates will pay for all
Vetting and supplies to foster.

Once healthy we will submit for transport to our rescue partners up North. No definite time frame to foster.

🐾 Meet Carmelo 🐾

Carmelo came to Chattooga County Animal Control when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. For a while, he seemed heartbroken and unsure of what came next. But true to his hound-mix spirit, that sadness has slowly turned into tail wags, smiles, and hope.

At only about 10 months old, Carmelo is still just a puppy with his whole life ahead of him. He’s incredibly sweet, friendly, and always happy to see people. He has a beautiful personality to match his handsome looks and is ready to find a family to call his own.

Brownie is a male dog known for his sweet temperament and affectionate nature. Shelter staff describe him as having a “teddy bear personality” who loves attention, cuddles, and spending time with people. He is also friendly with other dogs, making him a great candidate for families with existing pets.

Those who have met Brownie say he is calm, loving, and eager to make new friends. Whether he’s enjoying a walk, relaxing with his favorite humans, or soaking up affection, Brownie is happiest when he’s around people.

Brownie is currently available for adoption through the Chattooga County Animal Shelter, located at 464 Red Oak Drive in Summerville. His adoption fee is just $25.
