May Camp Day was one for the books! 🎣🛶🏀☀️

This month, both groups came together at Lookout Mountain Camp for Boys for an incredible day full of fishing, kayaking, outdoor basketball, swimming, and plenty of fun in the sun. Beyond the activities, we spent time growing together and learning important life lessons.

Bryan shared a powerful message about not comparing ourselves to others. In a world that constantly tells us to measure up, our kids were reminded that God created each of us uniquely, with our own purpose, gifts, and path. Comparison steals joy, but confidence comes from knowing who we are and whose we are.

Days like these are about more than fun. They are about building confidence, community, and truth into the lives of these young people. ❤️

Here are a few snapshots from our Truth Talks April birthday cookout. It is such a privilege and a joy to be part of these kids’ lives, celebrating them and speaking the truth of God’s love into their hearts. Watching them laugh, grow, and feel seen is what it is all about.

Another powerful and productive day serving our community!

Yesterday, our Chattooga County group partnered with the Garden Club to help care for the lawn and plants at the Historic Summerville Post Office, taking pride in preserving a space that means so much to the community. From there, we jumped in to support the Community Resource Center by helping clean up tables and chairs after the Health Fair at the Ag Center. A full day of hard work and willing hearts!

We also spent time in Judges 3:12–30, focusing on how God uses the unexpected. Judges 3:15 reminds us, “The LORD raised up a deliverer for the Israelites, Ehud son of Gera...” Through this, the boys were challenged to see that God often works through unlikely people and unconventional ways to accomplish His purpose. A powerful reminder that every one of us can be used by Him.

Grateful for days like this that build character, teach truth, and give back in meaningful ways.

What an incredible day serving and giving back to our community! Our Floyd County group came together at the Harbor House here in Rome to show a little love to their grounds. From cutting grass and string trimming to trimming bushes and even helping neighboring properties, these young men stepped up in a big way. It is powerful to watch them take pride in serving others and making a tangible impact.

Then, Frank the Tank brought us the challenge during our time together in James chapter 1 on "Patience". A reminder that patience is not instant, it is a process. In that process, we are called to pray, trust, and wait on the Lord. And through it, we grow into true contentment.

We wrapped up the day with some well-earned ice cream and even better conversations. Grateful for moments like these that build character, strengthen community, and shape the next generation of young men.

What an incredible way to kick off our first camp day of the year this past March 🙌

From the moment the day started, you could feel the excitement and purpose. We gathered together in prayer, served side by side building benches, and poured into the boys through a hands-on fishing seminar led by Coach Jeremy Green. Each boy walked away not just with new gear, but with new knowledge and confidence.

We shared a message, broke bread together, and spent the afternoon fishing, building relationships that go far beyond the day itself.

God showed up in every detail. In the service, in the laughter, in the conversations, and in the quiet moments by the water. This is what it’s all about… investing in the next generation and walking alongside them with intentionality and love.

Already grateful for what He did on day one and expectant for what’s ahead this year.

During March’s Truth Talks, we got to pause and celebrate all of the birthdays for both the girls and the boys. Moments like these go beyond just cake and candles… they remind each of these kids that they are seen, valued, and loved.

It’s a joy to capture memories like this. The smiles, the laughter, and the sense of family in the room say it all.
