❤️ Our Hearts Are Full, and the Wonder Ahead Is Brighter ✨

This year's Fostering Flight: The Wonder Ahead was officially SOLD OUT, and after all was said and done, our incredible community came together to raise more than $132,000 to support foster youth alumni and vulnerable young adults as they navigate the transition to independent adulthood.

Behind every dollar is the possibility of a young person finding stable housing, accessing essential resources, pursuing their education, or taking the next step toward a brighter future 🥹

To everyone who attended, bid on auction items, participated in our paddle raise, purchased raffle tickets, sponsored the event, donated items, volunteered, or helped bring this evening to life: THANK YOU!! You showed up, you believed in our mission, and you helped make the wonder ahead a little brighter for the young people we serve.

From all of us at Safety Net Inland NW, thank you for being part of something so meaningful 💙

The wonder ahead is brighter because of you!

We were honored to be invited to the 2nd Annual 208 Recovery Celebration at CDA City Park on Saturday 💙

The event brought together around 30 local nonprofits and community organizations, all coming alongside 208 Recovery and supporting their mission of helping individuals and families find a path toward recovery and a healthier future.

We were grateful to have our North Idaho Liaison, Kristen Neeser, and North Idaho Committee member, James Curb, representing Safety Net and connecting with so many incredible organizations doing meaningful work in our community 🫶

Following the celebration, everyone gathered for a Long Table Dinner, catered by Cracker Barrel and sponsored by Innovia, creating an opportunity for community partners to come together, share a meal, and strengthen the connections that make this work possible.

We are grateful to be part of a community where organizations come together to support one another and the people we serve ❤️

Thank you to 208 Recovery for including Safety Net in such a meaningful day!

💙 We are so grateful for our incredible community! 💙

Safety Net was honored to receive a $5,000 grant from 3C’s at their Community Awards Luncheon in August! We are incredibly appreciative of 3C’s continued support and the generosity they have shown Safety Net over the past several years. Their investment helps us continue providing essential support to youth as they navigate life after foster care 🫶

A special thank you to our committee and board member, Marie Widmyer, for all of her hard work helping make the annual 3C’s Fashion Show such a success! 👗✨

Because of the incredible work of 3C’s and everyone who supports the Fashion Show, $137,000 was distributed to 28 local nonprofits this year! What an amazing impact right here in our community ❤️

Thank you, 3C’s, for believing in the work of local nonprofits and investing in the people and organizations making a difference every day. We are so grateful to be among them!
