But don’t forget you can still catch us out in the community at Riverfront Park for Spokane’s 2026 Indigenous Peoples Day celebration!

This year’s theme, Following the Elders, reminds us to honor the knowledge, strength, and guidance of those who came before us while creating a healthier future for the generations still to come.

Come enjoy a full day of community, culture, and connection featuring an Indigenous march, community feast and giveaway, Native food and art vendors, music, dancing, a fashion show, youth and family activities, and so much more.

Today, GLOW Children Early Learning Center is wearing orange in honor of Orange Shirt Day/ Truth and reconciliation day and the message that Every Child Matters. 🧡

We wear orange to remember and honor Indigenous children, families, and communities impacted by residential schools, and to recognize the importance of creating spaces where every child feels safe, valued, heard, and that they belong.

At GLOW, we believe every child deserves to grow up surrounded by love, culture, connection, and community.

🧡 Every child matters.
🧡 Every story matters.
🧡 Every family matters.

Thank you, Kalea, for not only volunteering with GLOW, but for continuing to show up for our center in such fun and meaningful ways! 💛

We loved that you took the time to interview some of our preschoolers for your reel while helping spread the word about our available ECEAP spots. Hearing from the kids themselves made it even more special and gave families a little peek into the joy and personality inside GLOW. ✨

We appreciate you helping us get the word out and connect more families with early learning opportunities!

If you haven’t gotten to know Early Life Speech & Language yet, they are definitely a resource worth looking into! 💛

We are so grateful to partner with them in helping some of our GLOW kiddos access speech services and the support they need to grow, communicate, and thrive.

Early intervention is so important. When children receive support early, we can help build strong foundations for communication, confidence, learning, and connection. Every child develops at their own pace, and having caring professionals alongside families can make such a difference.

We’re so thankful for community partners who help us make sure families don’t have to navigate these things alone. 🌱✨
