A little rain couldn’t stop the fun this morning with our kiddos from school! 🌧️🐴 Muddy boots, sweet connections, and time with Petunia made for a special morning.

We love getting to share our little piece of Heaven here at 605 Roots. Sometimes the sweetest moments happen when we slow down, and enjoy what’s right in front of us. 🤍

Putting yourself out there is vulnerable.

Putting your dreams out there, hoping God can use you to help other people work through what they’re facing.

There are times you feel like an impostor.
“How can I help people when I’m still figuring things out myself?”

But here’s what I’m learning: You can want people to love what you create without making their approval your permission to keep going.

Sometimes courage looks like showing up before you feel ready. Sharing what God has put on your heart while your voice still shakes. Letting yourself be seen without trying to control the response.

There’s freedom in trusting who God created you to be—and trusting that He can work through you while He’s still working in you.

So thank you for liking our posts. Thank you for cheering us on. Every bit of encouragement means more than you know.
We love this community and that you trust us with your loved ones.

So much of the work I do stays quietly between me and the amazing individuals who trust me with their stories. Protecting their privacy is part of honoring that trust. 🤍

But this precious moment is one I get to share.

She is 77 years old, has experienced a few strokes, and her balance is unsteady. She hasn’t been on a horse since she was 16. Just getting back in the saddle after all those years takes courage.

Then, to trust me enough to close her eyes and let go with both hands as we work on balance, body awareness, and the connection between her brain and body… that trust means more than I can put into words.

Through the prayers, through the tears, we are connecting head and heart. Making room for healing, courage, and possibility.

It is an honor to do this work. To walk beside someone as they discover there is still more life to experience, more joy to receive, and more of their story to unfold.

This is not the most glamorous picture. This isn't pictures of animals and green grass and fun stuff this is the picture of Jenny Eggers sitting on a skid loader bucket on the way back to the barn from the pasture where we did a bunch of dirt work. She had a shovel in hand and was working just as hard as most men. Then on the way back she gets her phone out and answers texts replies to emails sets up client appointments and helps out with a couple groups at church just for the fun of it! This is the not ap glamorous side of 605 roots. This is the p**p scooping, horse doctoring, hay moving and hoof picking woman that I get to call my wife! She spends 6 months of the year doing it all without me and she does it with a smile on her face and a positive outlook. She's something pretty darn special!
