The Community HealthCare Association of the Dakotas (CHAD) is a member organization offering technical assistance and support to Community Health Center Clinic Sites in North and South Dakota. We work with health centers, community leaders, and partners to increase access and improve health care services in areas of the Dakotas that need it most. Health centers use every dollar of 340B savings to support and expand services for patients.

340B helps us:
✔️ Keep clinics open;
✔️ Expand behavioral health;
✔️ Provide affordable medications;
✔️ Reach rural communities;
✔️ Provide transportation for patients;
✔️ and more!

We're asking Congress to protect and strengthen the 340B program while opposing policies like the proposed rebate model that would make it harder for health centers to care for patients. We urge Congress to support H.R. 10770, the 340B Rebate Model Delay Act today.

Protect 340B. Protect patient care.

The bipartisan 340B Rebate Model Delay Act (H.R. 10770) would pause the rebate model for two years and preserve upfront drug discounts for safety-net providers.

We're asking Congress to protect and strengthen the 340B program while opposing policies like the proposed rebate model that would make it harder for health centers to
care for patients.

Rural Health Forward is a new initiative dedicated to strengthening South Dakota's rural health care workforce through training, professional development, collaboration, and workforce support opportunities. Having a job doesn’t automatically mean you can afford health insurance.

Medicaid and Medicaid expansion help provide coverage for:

People with lower incomes who may not be able to afford private health insurance

Part-time and full-time workers whose employers don’t offer health insurance

Students and other adults who meet income requirements

Working doesn’t always mean having affordable health coverage. Medicaid can help fill the gap.

You may remember Medicaid expansion from the 2022 election—but do you know what it actually did?

South Dakotans voted to expand Medicaid in 2022. The change opened the program to more adults with lower incomes. Since the program started, more than 30,000 South Dakotans have gained health coverage.
