Mentoring programs, clubs and camps, creating life-changing moments in the lives of foster children

We serve children ages 7-12 who have been or currently are in foster care to help them once again dream, believe and find new hope for their future. Through mentoring programs, clubs and Royal Family KIDS Camps, we create life-changing moments in the lives of children who have been in foster care

or experienced family-induced childhood trauma. For the Children Sioux Empire extends Christian love and care, with adults modeling a non-violent, positive way of life as an alternative to many of the negative, abusive situations which children of abuse and neglect have faced. At our Royal Family KIDS Camps and mentoring programs, kids receive the attention and encouragement of trained volunteers, and experience a variety of fun activities in an environment designed for their success and to build self esteem. Activity centers, games, sports, hiking, swimming, and fishing are all part of the program. A single compassionate church or non-profit in a local area is responsible for each Royal Family KIDS Camp and For the Children Chapter. These organizations are well-established and respected in the community. Our volunteer staff members are committed Christians, however the camps do not proselytize, and no religion is ever criticized or denigrated.

It was an absolutely beautiful day for golf, and our Annual Golf Fundraiser was a huge success once again!

Thank you to everyone who came out to play, sponsored a hole, volunteered, or donated to the cause. This fundraiser is a vital part of helping us make camp possible each year, and we truly couldn’t do it without your support.

A special thank you to Mike and his team for organizing and hosting this event year after year. Your dedication makes a lasting impact.

Join us for The Human Race, a community-wide fundraising event benefiting nonprofit organizations across the Sioux Falls Area, including but not limited to Royal Family Kids! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual walker, or cheering from the sidelines, this event is all about coming together to support causes that strengthen our local community.

Hosted by Health Connect of South Dakota, The Human Race features options for all ages and fitness levels while giving back in a meaningful way.
