It may be a little cloudy right now, but the weather looks great for this weekend's Brandon's Big Celebration! hosted by Celebration United Methodist Church Brandon and Mac's Carnival and attractions. Round up your family, friends, and neighbors and come join us at McHardy Park for carnival rides, games, a car show, and all of your favorite carnival food! The carnival is happening on Friday, May 22nd from 6-11PM; Saturday, May 23rd from 1-11PM with a Roll Up Car Show from 1-4PM; and Sunday, May 24th from Noon-5PM. Admission is FREE, but you need to purchase a wristband to play the games and enjoy the rides. We hope to see you there!

While you're at the carnival this weekend, you should also make a pit stop just down the road at Red Truck Alpaca Farm. They are a small, family-owned farm with 23 alpacas located at 26220 McHardy Road (just across the road from the soccer fields at McHardy Park). The steel framing is up at the site of the new contractor's shops at 1121 E. Ash Street in the Burkman Industrial Park. The project includes 8 50'x60' shop spaces, with each unit having its own office, restroom, and large 14'x14' overhead door. They are being constructed by Raeco Builders, LLC.

A fun event is happening at Tata's Trading Card Co this Saturday, May 16th from 4-7PM. As if free pizza and the door prizes weren't enough, UFC Light Heavyweight Devin Clark will also be making a special guest appearance. If you haven't visited, you should stop by, meet Johnny and Jessica, and learn about how they doubled down on their passion and turned it into a business. We hope to see you there!

A lot has happened over the past month at the site of our future Kwik Star located at 1316 E. Ash Place in Brandon 90 Plaza! Footings and foundation work has quickly progressed into framing the future buildings.

Family Treats Homemade Ice Cream, Lou Bas Lunch Wagon, Heavenly Foods, Backyard BBQ, Breaking Burrito, Mary's Mountain Cookies - Downtown Sioux Falls, 605IslandGuy, and Marco's Concessions will all be there!

We are excited to welcome the community to eat at some amazing food trucks tomorrow night!
Worship will be outdoors at the picnic tables near the front doors at 6pm!

The Special Olympics South Dakota Law Enforcement Torch Run was held this morning in the City of Brandon. The City of Brandon South Dakota - Municipal Government Police Department escorted the athletes down Holly Boulevard from Brandon Elementary to Brandon Valley High School. Thank you to everyone that came out to support the kids! Good luck athletes!
