🎤 Moderator: JUNIOUS L. BRICKHOUSE

Junious L. Brickhouse is an internationally recognized cultural strategist, scholar-practitioner, and Director of Next Level, the U.S. State Department’s global Hip Hop diplomacy program. A 2025 Maryland Heritage Award Fellow, he is committed to sustaining community-rooted African American and Urban Dance traditions. His work in cultural preservation is represented at the U.S. Library of Congress through Follow the Music: Exploring the Multi-Linear Legacies of House Culture, a landmark collection documenting oral histories and lineages within House culture.

Born in Virginia Beach and trained in the funk and street dance communities that shaped him, Junious later built parallel careers as a U.S. Army logistics professional and an internationally active dance leader.He is the Founder and Executive Director of Urban Artistry Inc.,an institution devoted to research, documentation, and mentorship in street dance culture. Junious is a former a Executive Board Member at The American Folklore Society, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Council for the Traditional Arts.

Geno Dunnington is the founder of Positive Effects Inc., an organization dedicated to providing technical assistance to government and community-based organizations. With an extensive background in leadership, peer resources, support, and program management, he has served as the Program Director for National Media Consortium Inc. and works as a Senior Event Manager overseeing large-scale event coordination.

Priscilla Lima Ledesma is a multidisciplinary artist, music educator, creative entrepreneur, and community builder in the DC area. Through Ms. P & Co., Studio PRI, SING DC, and Sabor & Soul, she creates spaces where music, art, and creative expression foster connection, confidence, healing, and joy.

Her work centers collaboration, cultural expression, accessibility, and meaningful community impact—bringing a holistic, human approach to creative entrepreneurship and programming.
