Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 by 11:59 p.m. and we need your help to do it! If you would like to donate to our mission, any amount helps, but we also appreciate those who share this message and help us spread the word. Here are just a few things your support makes possible:
1. InterAct’s Arts Education Programs in Schools! We create and conduct engaging arts education programs in schools and communities throughout the region, designed to promote learning for scholars of all ages in Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and more through the arts.
2. InterAct’s Wheaton Family Theatre Series Season 12! The Wheaton Family Theatre Series presents monthly performances in a wide variety of art forms. All events are free and open to the public thanks to generous support from the Maryland State Arts Council, the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, local businesses, and YOU!
3. InterAct’s KidStory Theatre Festival! Each year, InterAct artists work with thousands of children in schools across the area, devising original stories and plays. The best of the best become part of our annual KidStory Theatre Festival, in which the children’s stories become short plays performed by professional actors. In many cases, schools and school systems are able to pay only a portion of the costs--the rest of the costs are subsidized by grants and by donors like you.
By helping us raise $5,000 this day, you help us provide arts and education opportunities for more children throughout the area–you help us ensure that children can learn and thrive through the arts. Thank you for your support!
