Trunk or Treat is almost here! Join us Thursday, October 29, starting at 5 PM for one of our favorite neighborhood traditions!

We’re excited to see our Highland neighbors come together for an evening of costumes, candy, and community.

A big thank-you to St. Francis Episcopal Church for the Highlands and Highland Center Ministries for organizing this fun event and bringing our neighborhood together year after year.

We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Help us honor Maggie Lee by donating unopened boxes of cereal by Thursday.

Maggie Lee Henson would have turned 30 this year, and Maggie Lee for Good is celebrating her life by collecting cereal boxes in 30 different cities to support local food banks and families.

If you’re able, donated boxes of cereal can be brought to our back door during regular business hours, or drop by the Cereal Collection Party this Thursday, October 29, at Rhino on Southfield from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

Thank you, Red River Credit Union, for this grant supporting our "Housing and Hunger" programs. We deeply appreciate this sweet team and the RRCU Gives opportunity!

RRCU is proud to award The Highland Center a $5,000 grant through RRCU Gives! 💙

For years, The Highland Center has brought people and resources together to support families and build a stronger community. From free community meals and clothing assistance to homebuyer education, financial counseling, workforce development, and educational programming, their efforts help meet both immediate needs and long-term goals.

We’re honored to support an organization that is creating opportunities, providing hope, and making a lasting difference in the lives of Shreveport-area families. Congratulations! 👏💙
