Julianna Grace Ministry We provide grieving baskets to mothers or families who have lost babies due to miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant loss.

Our mission, at Julianna Grace Ministry, is to provide grieving baskets to mothers or families who have lost babies due to miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant loss. We provide baskets with books, information, resources, and comfort items such as music, necklaces, candles, etc. items that help families cope with and process the loss of a baby. When people hear that someone they love has lost a baby many want to do something to help with the grieving process but don’t know what to do, this ministry helps with that need. We are able to let friends and family know what to buy or what to say. This ministry is a Christ centered. Our greatest desire is to help grieving parents and families find their hope and peace in Jesus Christ.

This ministry was founded by Lisa Rowell in honor of Julianna Grace, her precious little girl who was born still. In early September of 2013, Lisa was five months pregnant when her baby, Julianna Grace, quit moving. She gave birth to her baby girl on the September 9th. A woman dropped off a grieving basket at the hospital and left. The items in the basket gave Lisa hope and encouragement during her grieving process. Lisa was inspired to do the same for other grieving families and hopes to share the same comfort she has received.

💜🕯️ Woah Louisiana Didn't Wait | Angels Law Update🕯️💜

Louisiana didn’t wait!! Please share this.💜 In this episode, I’m sharing an update on Angel’s Law and how Louisiana is working to ensure this law is implemented well. From making sure hospitals are equipped with cooling devices to providing proper bereavement care training for nurses and doctors, this law is helping bring compassionate support to families who experience the heartbreaking loss of a baby in the NICU or maternity ward.

I’ll also talk about October 15th, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, and the Wave of Light. For 24 hours, candles will be lit around the world in memory of the precious babies gone too soon. 🕯️ Every light represents a life loved, a baby remembered, and a family forever changed.

Join me as we continue to raise awareness, advocate for bereaved families, and remember the little ones whose footprints will forever remain in our hearts. 💜

What happens when you travel to Washington, D.C., ready to advocate? When God tells you to request meetings in person after not hearing back from congressman...and feeling unsure if I made the right choice to come back to DC. Was this trip going to be fruitful?

That’s exactly where I found myself on my recent trip.

For the first time, I wasn’t able to secure the congressional appointments I had hoped for. I had no idea how the trip was going to unfold.

But God did. 🙏🏻

What looked like closed doors quickly became unexpected opportunities. We found ways to secure meetings, had encounters with legislators we never expected, and experienced moments that could only be described as God-ordained.

And then came an unexpected meeting with from Lori McGrew of Maddie’s Footprints with Congressman Higgins—another moment we never could have planned. 🕊️

I’ll also share how God is raising up another Louisiana constituent, Kristi, who is stepping forward to advocate for change in stillbirth care and bring her own experience and passion to this important work.

This trip reminded me that sometimes what looks like a setback is actually God making room for something we couldn't have arranged ourselves.

✨ We make our plans… but God sees the whole picture.

I always turn to the scriptures to see what God wants me to say to encourage someone. Grief can be so deafening and words fail and will only comfort for a day..maybe.. but scripture is the double edged sword that can truly perece through marrow. Death will affect us all but the death of the little ones is incomprehensible. So here I am again asking Lord what I say and he says to remind them of my love for them. Tell them... In Psalms 139:13-18 is just a snippied of how He loves us and knows us. "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And [that] my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, [And] skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When [as yet there were] none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! [If] I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You."
1 in 4 women will experience a loss of a pregnancy. Unfortunately we will experience a loss..if it's not ourselves it's going to be a family member or a friend. Praying for you this season and knowing you are not alone.

💔 Sometimes grief doesn’t just break your heart—it changes the way you live.

Today on The Silent Footprints Podcast, I’m honored to share a conversation with Kelly Bourque Breaux, President of Red Bird Ministries, author, writer, and a mother who knows the unimaginable pain of losing a child. 🕊️

Kelly and her husband, Ryan, have experienced the loss of four children—their son Talon, who lived just 15 days; their daughter Emma Grace, who lived 3 years and 10 months; Christian Ryan at 11.5 weeks gestation; and Eva Catherine at 6.5 weeks gestation. 💔

Kelly shares honestly about what happened after those losses. She found herself spiraling into depression—not really living, but simply surviving.

But even in that darkness, God was working.

Out of Kelly’s own pain, Red Bird Ministries was born. ❤️‍🩹

What began from her own journey of loss has grown into a ministry where Kelly has personally walked alongside more than 500 grieving families, helping provide grief support and trauma-informed care to families and communities across the country.

In this episode, we talk about the things we don’t always talk about after child loss—the depression, the darkness, the questions, the faith, the survival, and the long road toward healing.

We talk about what it means to find life again after unimaginable loss and how God can meet us in places where we feel completely broken. 🙏

Kelly is also the author of Hiding in the Upper Room: How the Catholic Sacraments Healed Me from the Grief of Child Loss, a deeply personal reflection of her journey through sorrow, faith, and healing.

If you have lost a baby or child, or if you love someone who has, I pray this conversation reminds you:

✨ You are not forgotten.
✨ Your child will always matter.
✨ You don’t have to walk through grief alone.

Sometimes healing doesn’t mean forgetting. Sometimes it means learning how to live again while carrying the love of the child we lost. 🕊️❤️

What happens when a personal pregnancy-loss experience becomes the motivation to help change the way hospitals care for grieving families? 💔➡️💜

In this episode, I’m talking with Danielle Franck, whose own experience in pregnancy and the information she received from her healthcare provider led her to take a deeper look at how families are supported and informed. Her experience ultimately became part of the inspiration behind Bereavement Ready—a program helping hospitals evaluate and strengthen their care for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. 🏥👶🕊️

We talk about why hospital policies, staff education, compassionate communication, time with baby, follow-up care, and bereavement support matter so much. Every family deserves compassionate, informed care during one of the most heartbreaking moments of their lives. 💜

Yesterday’s sermon encouraged me deeply—not only in my personal walk with God, but also in the calling He has placed on my heart for more than 10 years.

It reminded me **why we advocate for the voiceless and for grieving families affected by stillbirth.**

In this episode, I talk about our greatest Advocate, **Jesus Christ**, and the example He gave us of speaking up for those who are hurting and often overlooked.

Next week, I’ll be traveling to **Washington, D.C.** to continue this advocacy work. I would truly appreciate your prayers—for wisdom, courage, the right conversations, and for God to guide every step.

**We speak because they cannot. We advocate because they matter. ❤️**

Lindsay Higdon longed to become a mother. After struggling with infertility, she and her husband turned to prayer and eventually made the decision to pursue IVF. When Lindsay became pregnant with twins, it felt like a double blessing.

But at just 21 weeks pregnant, everything changed.

Lindsay experienced preterm labor and the devastating loss of her babies. Her journey would take her through infertility, pregnancy loss, autoimmune struggles, grief, and a season of deep hopelessness.

She found herself asking the questions many grieving people wrestle with:

“Why did this happen to me?”
“Why would God allow this?”
“How can I continue to trust Him?”

In this episode of the Silent Footprints Podcast, Lindsay shares her powerful testimony of moving from hopelessness to hope and how God met her in the darkest season of her life.

Sometimes faith doesn't mean we understand why. Sometimes faith means choosing to walk with God through the questions, the pain, and the grief.

What happens when a woman or family is facing an unexpected pregnancy and life circumstances feel overwhelming?

Financial struggles, an abusive relationship, fear, shame, or a lack of support can make an already difficult situation feel impossible. That’s why having a safe place to turn matters.

On this episode of the, I’m joined by Chantel Small the Executive Director of the Care Pregnancy Center to talk about the compassionate, judgment-free support available to women and families in the Shreveport-Bossier area.

Chantel shares how the Care Pregnancy Center provides information, resources, and support so women can make informed decisions about their pregnancies—and know they don’t have to walk through difficult circumstances alone.

From its beginnings in 1991 to serving more than 200 women and families each month, the Care Pregnancy Center is a beautiful example of what can happen when a community comes together to offer hope, help, and compassionate care.

The Psalms are such an amazing book of the Bible. ❤️

Whether we are happy, sad, grieving, angry, confused, or simply looking for a place to pour out our hearts to God, there is a Psalm for almost every season of life. 🎶

On this episode of the Silent Footprints Podcast, I have the privilege of talking with Shane Heilman of The Psalms Project. Shane wrote Volumes 1–4 and has spent years putting the Psalms—in their entirety—to modern music.

We talk about faith, family, Scripture, worship, memorizing God's Word, and how the Psalms have transformed his faith.

🎧 Come listen and discover what happens when we allow God's Word to become part of the way we worship and live.
