Middle Spring Watershed Association (MSWA) is a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting the protection and restoration of Middle Spring Watershed, which includes: actively addressing sewage treatment issues, development impact, and water quality; increasing fish, wildlife and plant habitats; and promote community education about the ecological importance of Middle Spring Watershed streams.

This is a call and request for local persons, businesses, and organizations to donate prizes or gift certificates to be given as part of MSWA’s Rubber Duck Derby fundraiser, to be held at noon, Saturday September 26, at Dykeman Park.

Past prizes have ranged from $120 gift certificates down to $5 toys.

The event is family-oriented, so prizes oriented toward kids, especially ages 5-12, and prizes that fit with our themes (e.g. water, streams, fish & aquatic animals, nature, conservation, recycling, etc) are ideal.

Money from the Rubber Duck Derby funds MSWA’s non-profit educational and environmental initiatives.

MSWA is a charitable, 501(c)3 community organization (PA Sales Tax Exemption Certificate #75620511) formed to promote the protection and restoration of Middle Spring watershed, including nearby creeks.
