Michael D. Durff Camp Mak-A-Dream Memorial Michael D. Durff Camp Mak-A-Dream Memorial is a nonprofit organization in memory of Mike. He passed away in 2009.

He loved God, family and Camp Mak-A-Dream in Montana. Each year, his family hosts an annual fundraiser to help sponsor kids to go to camp.

Because of your generous donations & contributions, we were able to sponsor 37 campers in 2024 to Camp Mak-A-Dream this year 🥳. With your support over the past 15 years, we sponsored 348 campers for a grand total of $174,000.00! 👏

We have been blessed to have the support of ALL OF YOU...family, friends, fire department, businesses & our community! 🫶

We are sure that Mike is smiling on each and every one of you!

We would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for making the 15th annual Michael D. Durff Camp Mak-A-Dream Memorial Fundraiser and HUGE success. There are a lot of moving parts in front of and behind the scenes that have to come together to make the fundraiser a success. We couldn't have done it without all of our volunteers ...set up crew, sorters, cooks, servers, runners, clean up crew and our WONDERFUL COMMUNITY! 🥰 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! 🫶 You have helped us honor Mike & for that, we are VERY GRATEFUL!!

We hope this post finds everyone healthy and looking forward to SPRING!! We wanted to let you know that the 2024 Michael D. Durff Camp Mak-A-Dream Memorial tickets are now available! WOOHOO! The drawing is Saturday, May 4th at the Walnut Bottom Fire Company. As you know, tickets go QUICK, so contact your seller ASAP! We apologize in advance to anyone who are not able to purchase tickets (we only have a certain amount to sell).

We wish to thank EVERYONE who supports our fundraiser in memory of Mike. Over the past 14 years, we have been truly blessed with all the support you have given and the help we have received. Our total number of campers sponsored is 311 for a total of $155,500!!! YOU ALL ARE INCREDIBLE!!!🥰

With a lot of thought, we have made the difficult decision to make this our final year for the Michael D. Durff Camp Mak-A-Dream Memorial Fundraiser. Our helpers, ourselves included, are not getting any younger. The fundraiser takes a lot of effort with planning, setting up and hosting. A huge thank you from all of us at Camp Mak-A-Dream for your hard work at the Heads Up Conference. We could not have made this week happen without your incredible support. Maya Angelou once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

In the words of the campers from this week:

"At camp I learned how to lift myself up and get out of depression. To go a little beyond my limit. To not worry about my future and live in the present."

"My favorite part of camp was meeting with other people like me and having an open discussion without judgement."

"I loved my experiences and can't wait for next year. At camp you have someone to talk to about your problems. It is an open environment and no judgement. You will feel like a family while you are at Camp, and will build lasting friendships. "

Team MICHAEL has had another FANTASTIC fundraiser. Thanks to all the donations, sponsors, volunteers, family & friends, we are able to send 28 campers to Camp Mak-A-Dream this year at a cost of $500/camper. This brings our total campers to 311!!!!! We could not accomplished this endeavor without all the support from everyone. We are truly blessed. Thank U!!! We all know that Mike is smiling 🥰

THE TICKETS ARE HERE!!! Get your tickets for Michael D. Durff Camp Mak-A-Dream Memorial drawing being held on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Reach out to your "ticket seller's" before they are gone (we only have 300 tickets). We will be in-person with lots of Chinese Auction Items, Small Games of Chance, Good Food, Lots of Laughs & Good Times in store for ALL! We can't wait to see you!!

Thank you to ALL of you who came out to support our 2022 Memorial Fundraiser in honor of Mike! Because of all of you, we are able to send 26 campers to Camp Mak-A-Dream this year!!! SEE EVERYONE SATURDAY! Lunch is at noon, drawing starts at 1:00. We have LOTS & LOTS of items for the Chinese Auction, small games of chance, chicken, cake and LOADS of fun in store!!
