Renewing the culture of life, one young adult and one pregnancy resource center at a time. Join us!

Biking for Babies began as an idea shared between two young men over the phone, Jimmy Becker and Mike Schaefer, over the summer of 2008. Since that phone conversation, over 215 young men and women have participated as riders or support crew members on bicycle trips which have passed through 23 states, ridden nearly 30,000 miles, and fundraised over $1.6 million to support work of America’s pregnancy resource centers. With a vision to “renew the Culture of Life in America”, we hope that you are inspired to contribute to the work of your local pregnancy resource center as you feel called.

So many of us want to share our faith, to tell others the Good News that we know and trust in. It can be scary to be bold in our faith, but Biking for Babies gives young adults opportunities to grow in courage so that, when it’s time to provide a reason for their hope in Jesus Christ, they are ready to share. But once he starting praying with his team, learning more about the work of pregnancy centers, and reflecting on the need for respectful maternal care back home, he knew exactly where he needed to go.

The staff, Board, and Formation Team of Biking for Babies all retreated in October, allowing time to reflect, pray, and discern on how the Lord is calling us deeper into the mission of Biking for Babies and out into the world because of it.

We give thanks for these friendships and relationships and ask you to pray for our work. May it be efficacious in every capacity!
