We are so excited to be participating in the Franklin County Festival of Trees. This has been an event we've participated in since 2022.

Festival of Trees is just around the corner and there's still time to participate! FCVB is looking for decorators!! We provide the tree or wreath and you provide the theme and decor. This is open for businesses, individuals, non-profits and groups.

Festival of Trees is a great opportunity to help create a meaningful experience for locals and visitors while showcasing your business and holiday cheer. For questions and more details send us a DM or email [email protected]

All proceeds from the event benefit the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA).

What a wonderful evening to be at historic Fort Loudoun for tavern light. We want to thank those at Fort Loudoun PA for always including us in their programming. You guys are a wonderful partner.

Tomorrow, several of our board members will be attending the John Maclay roadside marker dedication at the site of the Maclay Mill.

Also, happening tomorrow afternoon and evening, our interpretative staff will be at Fort Loudoun PA for Tavern Night. The main theme will be based on the Celtics that settled in the area.

Because of this, our facility will be closing early at 1:30 PM. We hope to see everyone at one of these great events.

We want to thank the Minnequa social club 375 for their donation to our educational programming and facility needs. Thank you for the support!

This Saturday, October 24, the SHC will have two events we are attending. The first, our board of directors will be attending the PHMC marker dedication for Maclays Mill and our director and some of the interpretative staff will be at Fort Loudoun PA for Tavern Night. What a busy, but great Saturday for our organization as we support two great events. With that being said, our facility will close early at 1:30 PM so that we can be at both events!
