Windermere Foundation in the News! 📰💙

More than three decades of giving back, nearly $1.4 million donated, and over 60 local organizations supported. That's the incredible impact Windermere Coeur d'Alene Realty has made in their community over the past 32 years!

Recently featured in the Coeur d'Alene Press, the team was recognized for its longstanding commitment to supporting local nonprofits and neighbors in need, including its continued involvement with the Coeur d'Alene Backpack Program. This year's "We've Got Your Back Bash" helped provide more than 550 backpacks and 300 haircuts to local children as they prepared for the school year.

Proud of the nearly 200 Windermere Signature Properties team members from 13 offices who laced up their shoes for the 3rd Annual Cancer Champions Walk–Run–Roll, helping raise an incredible $46,000+ for individuals and families impacted by cancer! 🏃‍♀️💛

As the event's Champion Sponsor, Windermere Signature Properties helped make this year's Walk–Run–Roll possible, bringing the community together to raise funds for Cancer Champions and its mission to help cancer patients and survivors thrive through personalized fitness, nutrition, and mindset programs.

🏆 Community Champions! 🏆

A huge thank-you to Jack Maider of Moreland Insurance, Tom Maider and Brad Knowles of Windermere Green Lake, and Brett Muggyesy of Generations Home Loans for representing Moreland Insurance in this year’s Chubb Charity Challenge—a tournament where teams compete to raise funds for the causes they care about most. ⛳️✨

The Moreland team once again chose to play for the Windermere Foundation, finishing in 6th place and earning an incredible $3,000 to support our mission of assisting low-income and homeless families across the communities we serve.

We’re so grateful for their continued dedication to giving back and for once again choosing to support the Windermere Foundation, both on and off the course! 💙

💙 Impact Update! 💙

Last Friday, September 11, Windermere teams in Seattle and Portland joined volunteers across the country for the annual 9/11 Day of Service Meal Pack, turning a day of remembrance into a day of unity, compassion, and service.

For our third year participating, the Windermere Services Company team gathered alongside a growing number of volunteers at the Lumen Field Events Center, helping pack over 250,000 meals right here in Seattle for individuals and families facing food insecurity. Members of Windermere Realty Trust also joined the effort in Portland. 🥫💙

We’re grateful to everyone across the Windermere network who rolled up their sleeves and joined us this year. Twenty-five years later, it’s a powerful reminder of what can happen when we come together to care for one another. 🇺🇸💙

Local Heroes Highlight 🌟 Windermere Narrows

For the fourth year in a row, Windermere Professional Partners brought their community together for an incredible day on the course, combining a little friendly competition with a whole lot of community impact. ⛳💙

Thanks to the generosity of their players, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, this year's tournament raised an incredible $25,000 for the Skoolie Foundation, helping fund the conversion of a new NOAH bus. The bus will be repurposed into a climate controlled, off-grid mobile shelter, expanding access to safe shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

We're so proud of the Windermere Professional Partners team for continuing to grow this meaningful tradition and turning a day of connection into lasting impact. Here's to another successful tournament and the lives that will be changed because of it. 💙

Standing with Spokane. 💙

The recent wildfires across the Spokane region have impacted countless families, neighborhoods, and communities, leaving many in need of both immediate relief and long-term recovery.

In response to these devastating wildfires, the Windermere Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Innovia Foundation's Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund, helping local nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community groups meet the urgent and long-term needs of those affected by the fires.

Sometimes, one creative idea can spark something extraordinary. 🦝💙🎨

When local artist Henry auctioned Jimothy The Raccoon —a whimsical painting inspired by a beloved Seattle raccoon—he pledged to donate 100% of the proceeds to the Ballard Food Bank, an organization that helped him through some of his hardest times.

The painting sold for an amazing $6,543.21, and Windermere Midtown stepped in to match the winning bid dollar for dollar, bringing the total donation to more than $13,000 for the Ballard Food Bank.

Together, these gifts will help support the Ballard Food Bank's mission of providing food, hope, and dignity to neighbors experiencing food insecurity throughout the community.

We're inspired by this collaboration and the generosity behind it. Thank you to Henry Beyond Museums for turning art into action, and to the team at Windermere Midtown for doubling the impact and showing what being all in for community is all about. 💙🥪
