✨ Meet Jaelynn Scott!

A respected community organizer, advocate, and movement leader, Jaelynn Scott has dedicated her work to advancing community safety, housing stability, and justice for those most impacted by systemic inequities. As Executive Director of Lavender Rights Project, she has helped build community-led solutions that center protection, dignity, and self-determination for Black, trans, gender-diverse, and historically marginalized communities.

Through her leadership, organizing, and advocacy, Jaelynn has worked to strengthen pathways to housing, expand community-rooted approaches to safety, and build collective power for lasting change. Her commitment to justice and liberation continues to inspire communities across Washington and beyond.

✨ Meet Representative Nicole Macri!

A champion for housing justice, health care access, and LGBTQIA+ rights, Representative Nicole Macri has dedicated her career to building a Washington where everyone can live with dignity, stability, and opportunity. Throughout her time in the Legislature, she has helped advance policies that expand access to affordable housing, strengthen health care, protect workers and renters, and support historically marginalized communities.

As one of the few openly LGBTQIA+ members of the Washington State Legislature, Nicole has been a steadfast advocate for equity and inclusion, working to ensure that all people can thrive regardless of who they are or where they come from.

We're honored to welcome Nicole to this year's Pride Brunch as we celebrate the leaders helping build a more just and inclusive future for LGBTQIA+ communities and beyond. 🌈

Today, as Seattle raises the Pride flag, we honor the generations of LGBTQIA+ people whose courage, organizing, and advocacy made this moment possible.
Pride is more than a celebration. It is a reminder that the rights, visibility, and community we have today were built by trailblazers who refused to be silent and who fought for a more just future.

At Q***r Power Alliance, we are especially grateful for leaders like Lois Thetford, whose commitment to justice, community, and collective power helped shape the path forward for so many LGBTQIA+ people across Washington. Her legacy lives on in our work and reminds us that progress is created by people who choose to show up, organize, and build power together.

To every person who finds belonging because others dared to imagine a better world, we see you. We celebrate how far we've come, honor those who paved the way, and recommit ourselves to the work that remains.

Building Collective Power for LGBTQIA+ Liberation.

Join us for a heart-centered, high-energy event bringing community and civic engagement together. Hear from q***r local lawmakers, plug into the No Hate in WA State campaign, and connect with organizations making a difference right here in our communities.
