The 2nd Annual PAGKAKAISA Festival was a great success! It was a fun family gathering at the Dr. Jose Rizal Park. A well attended event supported by hundreds of Filipino-Americans who graced the festivity, supporting a very worthy cause; the PRESERVATION, RESTORATION and BEAUTIFICATION of this Iconic park.

This year's event was sponsored by Seattle Parks and Recreation Dept, Neighborhood Marching Funds and COFAO (Coalition of Filipino American Organizations).

I would like to personally give THANKS to all sponsors, volunteers, photographers and all entertainers (singers, dancers and models) especially to Mr. Rolly Politan (COFAO President), Ma. Tess Ramos, Ms. Terry Allen, Marychrist V Castro & KC Michaels (hosts) and Ms. Margie Pratt who outdone herself and went beyond to ensure that this year's event's theme: YOUTH EMPOWERMENT will be a success!!!

Please visit our website: www.drjoserizalpark.com for more detailed announcement and recognitions to be released soon in a few days.

Once again, MARAMING SALAMAT!!!
