🌟 Our Parents as Teachers and Safe Care Family Development Specialists had an amazing opportunity to attend PATCon 2026 in Oregon! The annual Parents as Teachers Home Visiting Conference.

They gained valuable knowledge, explored new strategies for home visiting and family engagement, and connected with professionals dedicated to supporting children and families. We look forward to bringing these new ideas back to our programs to continue strengthening families and helping children thrive! 💙🏡

Incredible Years® classes are starting in November!

At Outreach, we understand that parenting does not come with an instruction manual, and sometimes, support is needed to help children handle strong emotions, especially negative ones like anger and frustration.

At Incredible Years®, Outreach's certified specialists help parents and caregivers of children ages 2-12 handle typical child behavior concerns. Specialized curriculum is also available to address specific needs related to autism and language delays.

Happy World Teachers' Day! 🍎

Today we're celebrating the educators who make learning possible, including the dedicated instructors in our GED program. Every week, they help adults in our community take a step they may have put off for years, and earning that diploma opens doors to new jobs, further education, and a future built on confidence.

Teaching happens in so many places at Outreach. At our Young Adult Center, young people are discovering their strengths and building the skills to reach their goals. Through Parents as Teachers, we celebrate the truth that parents are a child's first and most important teachers.

And we have to say it: Outreach is always learning too. The individuals and families we serve teach us every day about resilience, determination, and what our community truly needs. Thank you for trusting us and for making us better at what we do. 💙

This year, HNB is celebrating an incredible milestone: 190 years of serving Northeastern Pennsylvania! Since 1836, their story has been rooted in the towns and neighborhoods they call home.🏦

Through their Feed the Need Food Drive, running October 1 through November 21, HNB aims to donate 190 boxes of food to pantries across NEPA.
