Scranton, PA Meetings were originally held in the YWCA and then later changed to The Tripp House in 1986. Mary's Center, 232 Mifflin Ave., Scranton.

Originally called the Scranton Garden Club the name was changed to the Laurel Garden Club in honor of Pennsylvania State Flower, the Mountain Laurel. Currently Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at St.

Chanticleer is headed to the 2027 Philadelphia Flower Show!

This year’s theme, ICONIC, is bringing together five of Pennsylvania’s most iconic public gardens for a first-of-its-kind showcase, and we’re thrilled to be part of it alongside Longwood Gardens, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, and The Arboretum at Penn State.

The 2027 Philadelphia Flower Show theme, 'Iconic,' honors the way creatives have drawn inspiration from the garden for centuries.

The 2027 Philadelphia Flower Show will bring together five Pennsylvania public gardens for the first time, including Longwood Gardens and Chanticleer.

The show returns March 13-21 with new exhibits, special events and more than 30 major exhibitors.

Not only was it a fine autumn evening , but Christmas was in the air. It was a craft night and we made ornaments from fuzzy lambs ears from our gardens.

📍 The Trolley Verdure at The Electric City Trolley Museum

Join us for an informative and fun-filled floral design workshop! This month, we’ll create charming floral arrangements inside pumpkins. Bring your own pumpkin, flowers, and containers to craft a beautiful pumpkin arrangement!

🍽️ Bring something (🍲) to share with the group as we enjoy food and creativity together.

Volunteers are welcome to arrive early (around 10:30 AM) to help with museum plants chores.

This event is FREE and open to everyone—whether you want to participate or simply watch and learn.
