One of our marketing committee members visited the “Walla Walla Wine on Tour” event in Chicago to learn more about the region, meeting 8 great producers and tasting their fabulous wines. Needless to say, much was learned and rave reviews about the wines!

That is an impressive grenache leaf. Thank you to AWS Welcome Here winery Tablas Creek Vineyard.

Check out the diameter of this Grenache leaf. Sure, an 8.5” diameter isn’t uncommon in Grenache at the peak of growing season, but this is still the first half of April.

Our national tasting project, NTP, is underway... Taste Central Italy, score the wines, and compare your scores to hundreds of other American Wine Society members across the country. It's a no pressure fun experience! NTP can be done solo or with your friends, but way more fun with a chapter!
