Saint Ann Maronite Catholic Church

Saint Ann Maronite Catholic Church Divine Liturgy:
(Most) Tues-Fri at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Thank you for visiting our page, and may Almighty God bless you.

This page helps us stay connected to our parish members, as well as to our friends and communities -- near and far. Saint Ann Maronite Church has been the center of Maronite spiritual and cultural activity in Scranton since its founding in 1903, and remains a vibrant community committed to worship of God in the ancient Syro-Maronite Antiochene Rite, which originated in Antioch where Saint

Peter was the first Bishop, and which still preserves its ancient roots with the use of Syriac (Aramaic) for the most sacred parts of the Eucharistic Liturgy. Please browse our page, and you will get a small glimpse of all that is going on in our parish community. We welcome you to our page and invite you to visit our Church for any of our worship or social events, which you will find in our parish bulletins and on special sections of our page. Reverend Antoun Youssef, Administrator,
Saint Ann Maronite Church pastor

A question we love to answer: Can I receive Communion here if Iโ€™m Roman Catholic?

Yes. ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ

The Maronite Church is one of the 23 Eastern Catholic Churches in full communion with the Pope and the Church of Rome. We are fully, completely Catholic, sharing the same faith, the same sacraments, and the same Eucharist. Only the liturgical tradition is different: ours is the ancient Syriac-Antiochene tradition, prayed in the language of Christ Himself.

So if youโ€™re a Catholic in good standing, you are welcome to receive the Body and Blood of Our Lord at our Divine Liturgy, just as you would at a Roman Mass.

Come and experience the beauty of the Maronite tradition.
