Now that the 2026 UCI Track Cycling World Cups are a wrap, all eyes turn to UCI CL2 VSC SUMMER SLAM right here at the VELO Sports Center in Carson, CA. Two consecutive action-packed weekends; six (6) races; full sprint and endurance schedules each day; all on the velodrome that will host LA28 Olympic Games track cycling. Race one or race them all!

Each day features AM/PM sessions, qualifying rounds and finals, and world-class, international Men’s and Women’s fields. You don’t want to miss this.

Celebrating our 11th year of supporting racing at Velo Sports Center … Let’s Ride!

Let’s RIDE! If you can ride a bike, you can ride the track…and we have something for every age and ability!

SAMPLE SESSION: For first timers who want to give the track a go. We even have a bike you can use! Individual or group. Great with a friend!

CERTIFICATION: You’ve fallen in love with it. But you need to know all the riding safety stuff, especially with others around. Think of it as a velodrome driver’s license.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: Okay, I’ve got my certification, but yikes (!) I could really use some group riding.

OPEN SESSIONS: I just want to ride with whomever is there. Think of it as going down to the park and seeing who’s playing.

COACHED SESSIONS: I want to get better. Maybe trying racing or maybe not; but I like how this feels and I want to improve.

RACING: Between Skunkworks Track Cycling and Foundation for American Track Cycling we have a lot of options. Check our pinned posts and Facebook EVENTS tab.

YOUTH CYCLING: Got a child 8-18 who might like to try this? Our YOUTH program is set-up for all ages and abilities, and requires no special equipment. We have bikes that fit and even a helmet if needed. Getting kids on bikes is probably our most favorite thing here.

INFIELD SPORTS: Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Badminton, Roller Skating, and yes…even Dodgeball. Whether school, club, recreational, private, pick-up…we got you.
