Little Miss Pippi had her makeover yesterday. She was so matted that she needed a very short haircut, but she looks so beautiful and I know she feels so much better.

My amazing friend and adopter of our Jax has taken her home today to foster which we are so grateful for.

Thank you to everyone who shared my post and donated towards her fundraiser. I forgot to add the Amazon wish list so I will do it now in stories.

And a huge thank you to Michelle and Roger for keeping this little girl safe after they found her on the side of the road and reaching out for help. ❤️

Just wanted to pop on here real quick and share this new little girl we welcomed into the rescue recently.
If you can get past the awkwardness of this video lol
I tried really hard to act normal and film it in one go but after about 20 tries I realised it wasn’t going to happen.

For those that know me well, know this is way out of my comfort zone but I wanted to do something a little different to what I normally post.

Pippy was found on the streets of Phoenix a few weeks ago and so far no one has come forward after an extensive owner search.

She is safe with her finders/fosters until the end of May, so we will need to find another foster or forever home.
She is scheduled for her dental and spay in a couple of weeks, she just had bloodwork and all of her shots and she’s getting a makeover today, which I can’t wait to share her glow up with you all.

Pippy is about 4/5 years old, 7.5 pounds.
She is a little timid at first but warms up quickly.
She is ok with other dogs, and so far doesn’t seem to like certain kids.
If you would like any more information, please reach out here.

I am putting together a small fundraiser if anyone was able to help with some of the medical cost that would be very much appreciated.

I also put together an Amazon wish list if anyone wanted to purchase something off that.

Sorry for not being on here as much lately, things got very heavy for me and still are but I’m slowly trying to find my way back 🥺❤️🙏

Some of you may know that I’ve been going through a very difficult time these last couple of months.
I’ve been attempting to come on here and share some details but just didn’t know what to say or if I even needed to say anything.
My mum had a massive stroke in early October. I flew back to Australia to spend precious time with her in the hospital.
She knew I was there but was in very bad condition.
Having to leave and come back here to the states was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.
She was moved to end of life care but we were still hoping for a miracle as there were some slight improvements.
Unfortunately things took a turn and before I could get on a plane to be by her side she left this world very peacefully 2 weeks ago.
My heart is completely shattered. I’m not even sure of what to do or how my life will ever be the same without her in it.
I’m going back to Australia next week for her service and to spend time with my family.
I hate to even say this but I’m going to need to take some time for myself and put rescue on a slight pause.
I will be doing a very long overdue adoption update this week that I keep putting off and we still have several dogs in the rescue that are looking for homes.
I’ll do a post on each of them this week and then will take a break.
Thank you to our amazing fosters who have been so patient and understanding of the situation and thank you to those of you who are always there supporting us and have been helping me through this very difficult time.
I’m hoping that when I come back I’ll have a clearer mind and be ready to help more dogs in need.

Terri x

I’m finally coming up for air to give a little update and apologies for being a little absent lately.

Trying to juggle rescue and personal life can be a struggle at times
Even though I may not post regularly, the work behind the scenes never stops.

I am behind on posting adoption updates, dogs for adoption ect but will try my hardest to get back on top of things.

That being said, I wanted to re introduce you to Rosie, the scared little girl that was captured by a few weeks ago after hiding in someone’s front yard for a week.

One of our wonderful fosters stepped up, so she has been doing amazing and finally coming out of her shell.
It took a few days before she was brave enough to venture out of her crate but now she is seeking affection, joining the family and showing her beautiful personality.
Her initial vet visit at was rough but we were able to get the basics done and check for a microchip, which she didn’t have.

She is scheduled for her dental and bloodwork next week and will be ready for adoption shortly.

Thank you Jordana for taking the best care of Rosie and for helping us with her medical care.
She will be ready for adoption shortly.
Thanks for her beautiful name ❤️

Knight was also officially surrendered to us last week as his owner no longer wanted to take care of him and unfortunately he went into boarding as we didn’t have any fosters for him.
Dash the pug also went into boarding but is currently on a trial adoption and doing great so far.

We have had several of our rescues adopted recently so I’ll be doing a little update on them as well. ❤️

We are needing a foster for this little senior girl who was trapped last night by from
I had a lady reach out to me during the week asking if we could take if she was trapped.
We can only intake if fosters step up to help us and last night the opportunity was there to safely secure her without a committed foster in place.
is holding on to her while we look for one.
What we know so far is she is a senior female, very scared but is slowly warming up to people.
We will know more information on her health wise next week once we get her into our vet.

Please reach out if you can help us.
We cover everything, you just provide a safe place.
We are located in Scottsdale, AZ

Foster apps will be found on our website hannahpearlrescue.com.

Please share far and wide so we can find a more permanent foster home.

She will need a new name so if you have any cute suggestions, drop them in the comments.❤️

Introducing Hansel and Winston ❤️

First off, I wanted to thank my good friend for driving down to to get these 2 little guys out of the shelter today.

They are getting settled with their amazing foster now and we have vet appointments already scheduled for tomorrow.

Their medical condition is unknown at this stage but Winston has some lumps on his belly that will need to be addressed and they will both need dentals and bloodwork.
I’m putting together a small fundraiser for now but that number may increase after tomorrow’s visit.
I’ll also be doing an Amazon wish list for some much needed items that will be in our stories if anyone would like to send them some love.

Thank you Dawn and Debbie for stepping up and saying yes..because of you we were able to get these 2 babies out but our hearts break for the ones we left behind. 💔

Big thanks to for bringing awareness to this little shelter that is struggling so much.
They are doing their best to accommodate these poor animals with strays and owner surrenders at an all time high.

Please if you are considering adopting or helping out in any way, please go down there.
There are so many dogs and cats that are in such desperate need for a loving home. 🙏❤️

🆘🆘 We had someone reach out to us asking for help with these 2 dogs that are being left outside in the heat all day/night.
We need a foster for both or 2 separate fosters.
Once we secure them we will get them into our vet this week.
Please share far and wide. This is just so very cruel and unacceptable, especially in this heat.

Please fill out this foster form of you can help.

UPDATE…we did find a foster but now the extremely selfish and cruel owner of Farrah took her back once she was told she was going into foster.
I would love to post how I really feel about this situation and the owners but I will reel it in and stay professional for now. We are not giving in just yet but trusting the process as we have done in the past 🙏

🚨Emergency foster or adopter needed for this very sweet but shy Pomeranian, Farrah.

She has until Thursday to find placement.
For 2 years Farrah had been kept in a cage for most of the day because the family had a new baby.
That “wonderful” family are now getting divorced so Farrah was basically dumped in the care of a young girl on Friday who can’t keep her.

Farrah is about 3-4 years old.
She is very sweet but has anxiety about being crated. For the last few days she has been sleeping in the carers bed and that makes her happy.

We were told she has had shots but the previous owner didn’t give any information but she will be seen by our vet to make sure she is healthy.

If you would like any more information please reach out or head to our website hannahpearlrescue.com and fill out a foster or interest to adopt form.

We are located in Scottsdale
Please share so we can find Farah a loving home 🧡💛
