Nearly 1,000 FDA-approved, mail-order abortion drugs enter Louisiana every month, according to the abortion industry's own estimates. Nationwide, approximately 15,000 enter states in violation of their laws.

After Dobbs returned the issue of abortion to the states, the Biden FDA permanently removed the in-person dispensing requirement for Mifepristone, allowing abortion drugs to flow through the mail in a deliberate effort to circumvent pro-life state laws.

ADF is representing the state of Louisiana, alongside Attorney General Liz Murrill, and Rosalie Markezich in a lawsuit challenging that unlawful decision. Rosalie was coerced into taking FDA-approved abortion drugs that her then-boyfriend ordered by mail from a doctor in California.

ADF has filed an emergency application at the U.S. Supreme Court.

The question: Does federal law protect a teenage girl from having to compete against males in girls’ wrestling?

Title IX was enacted to ensure girls have fair and safe opportunities to compete.

But in December 2025, 15-year-old Kallie Keeler was sexually assaulted by a stronger opponent during a girls’ wrestling match.

Only after it was over did she learn her opponent was a male athlete.

ADF attorneys are asking the Court to act while Kallie's case continues.

Girls shouldn’t have to sacrifice their safety to play the sports they love.

The First Amendment protects every organization's right to hire people who share its mission.

Planned Parenthood doesn't have to hire someone who's pro-life. PETA doesn't have to hire a hunter.

So why is Washington State trying to force a Christian rescue mission to hire people who reject its faith?

Union Gospel Mission of Yakima serves everyone. But it shouldn't be forced to hire just anyone. Every staff member — from the kitchen to the shelter floor — is part of how the Mission lives out its faith.

Washington State disagrees. The full Ninth Circuit has now reheard this case after a unanimous panel already sided with the Mission.

Pray that the court upholds religious organizations' right to build their own faith community.

Alliance Defending Freedom is representing a Christian homeless ministry in Washington state. We’re challenging the State’s unprecedented attempt to determine who is religiously qualified to serve at a church or ministry— coercion that threatens to drive religious groups out of public life.
