Scituate will be well represented at Hanover Day 2026 on Friday June 26th! Two Scituate student acts start of the day with: Violet Hanks at 4:30PM, followed by Stained Glass Windows (winners of Scituate Friends of Music's 2026 Battle of the Bands) at 5:00PM.

Shortly after, Scituate's own The Wickies perform from 6:45-7:30PM!

Let’s get the rest of Scituate out to Hanover Day and support our town’s amazing talent!

🎶 The Harbor Bandstand Series kicks off this Thursday and continues on the First Friday of each month from 6:00–8:00 PM!
While the original bandstand has been removed and will be rebuilt, a temporary performance platform is in place for the summer—so the music goes on! Join us for great live entertainment, beautiful harbor views, and a fun evening with the community.

Gates Middle School Jazz Band will be hosting its annual fundraising concert for Boston Children's Hospital on June 9 at 6:30PM at The Tinker's Son in Norwell!
Seating will be limited. This is always a fun event in support of a great cause.

Parents and friends who would like to attend this event are strongly encouraged to call The Tinker's Son to make a reservation for a table. Please be sure to tell them that you want to be seated to listen to the "Gates Jazz Band" for the fundraiser. You can call The Tinker's Son at 781 561 7361.

Congratulations to the SHS Class of 2026 🎓.
Last week we awarded 4 scholarships to deserving applicants.
Our three music scholar winners are Autumn Levirne ( not pictured), Will Larson and Aidan Campbell. These three students are furthering their education in music at college.
Our Ed Fiddler scholarship winner- for mentoring and service to the music program at Scituate Public schools is EK Labadia. EK has spent many hours in the booth in lights and sound and has participated in numerous music ensembles at SHS.
Congratulations and keep making music 🎶! We are so grateful to each for your dedication and example to others. Best wishes for all that is to come.

Do you have a small, medium or large Scituate Music Polo shirt to pass along ? The order did not come through on time for the Memorial Day Parade .

Please bring to Mr Lessard at Scituate Town Hall on Monday morning at 9:15am or drop off on the porch at 78 Brook St anytime before 9:15am on Monday .
