A heartfelt thank you to The Pilot Club of Chatham County for galloping over to Hope Haven to lead us in hilarious, joy-filled horse games.

Our program days are about so much more than just having fun. For people living with dementia, active socialization, shared laughter, and meaningful connection are vital. Activities like these stimulate the mind and provide a sense of belonging and joy.

Thank you to Era Hall and her spunky team for spreading so much happiness and keeping us all laughing from start to finish. We are so grateful for your wonderful partnership and community spirit! 💙💛

❤️ Connecting Generations ❤️
We are so incredibly grateful for our wonderful partnership with The Children's School at St. John's Church! Being in Cranmer Hall together allows us to bring so much joy, laughter, and love into each other's lives throughout the year.
From holiday celebrations and parachute games to big hugs from the children, these intergenerational bonds are truly magical.
As Martha Sullivan beautifully put it, “The children don't see a diagnosis of dementia—they simply see adults who are excited to love them and have fun.”
Congratulations to this year's graduating class! 🎓

There is something special about the way a simple tradition can bring us all together. We spent our day leaning into the spirit of the Derby from crafting our own fabulous hats to the excitement of cheering on the horses during our own Hope Haven races.

More than anything, we’re reminded that laughing together is what we do best, and it looks like our four-legged friend didn't want to be left out of the fun!

We are so grateful to Dawn Baker and the team at WTOC-TV for highlighting the heart of Hope Haven! 💙

Caregiving is a journey that no one should walk alone, and we were honored to share how our "social club" provides a space of dignity, joy, and friendship for those living with dementia — and the much needed gift of time for their families. Thank you, Dawn, for your warmth and for giving a voice to this vital mission in our community.

If you’d like to learn more, visit, or volunteer, Hope Haven welcomes the conversation—because for families facing dementia, knowing they’re not alone can make all the difference.
