We had such a blast reliving our youthful days and finding out who was “Most Talkative,” “Most Athletic,” and “Most Likely to Succeed”—along with who spent plenty of time in detention! 😂
It is such a joy to be with these beautiful and special people. Community is everything! Make sure you surround yourself with people who lift you up, make you laugh, and bring joy to your life. 💛

"When I'm gone, I want to be remembered for the love I left behind." — Dolly Parton

Reminiscing today on our 9 to 5 Dolly Parton Fun Day. She brought so much warmth, music, and joy into the world. As we honor her legacy of kindness, we also want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of our dedicated Hope Haven supporters who devote their time, energy, and hearts to lifting up others every single day.

Thank you, Dolly, for showing us what it looks like to use your gifts to make the world a kinder, brighter place. 🦋🎶

Proof that magic grows in the simplest places: A single stem can bring back a lifetime of sweet memories. 🌸✨

We are overflowing with gratitude to the Garden Club of Savannah for their generous contribution to Hope Haven! 💛

Flowers bring so much more than beauty to our days. For our members living with dementia, fresh blooms offer a powerful way to engage the senses and spark connection. For those who spent years gardening, having flowers around is a wonderful link to something deeply familiar. For others, a blossom might bring back a memory of a past celebration or a special occasion filled with flowers. Every moment like this is truly special at Hope Haven.

Our members love touching the soft petals, taking in the vibrant colors, and sharing stories of the gardens they once tended. And, of course, these beautiful arrangements make our dining tables feel warm, inviting, and just like home. 🌸

Thank you, Garden Club of Savannah, for this thoughtful gift. Your generosity keeps our tables bright and brings the simple joy of the garden into our days. 🌱

Mark your calendars to attend the 50th anniversary of their annual fundraiser the NOGS Tour on April 16 & 17, 2027! It is a can't miss event.

It's hard to believe it's already back-to-school time for so many Savannah students! 📚🍎

We're especially grateful that some of these amazing young people chose to spend part of their summer volunteering with us. A huge thank you to the Serve & Shine youth from First Presbyterian Church for making our day so much fun! They kept everyone laughing with Minute to Win It games, shared their piano talents by playing Beatles songs 🎹💛, and helped us prep for upcoming art projects.

We love welcoming young people into our club. Their energy, kindness, and laughter are truly contagious. Even more importantly, spending time together helps them see firsthand that a dementia diagnosis doesn't take away a person's ability to laugh, connect, create, and enjoy life.

Every day at Hope Haven is filled with meaningful moments, and we're so grateful we got to share a few of them with this wonderful group. Wishing all students a school year filled with kindness, service, and connection! ❤️
