Happy Galentines Day!

We’ve shown you examples of opera and art song, so now take a listen to some musical theater! Back to the stage is with a tender performance of “Someone Like You”. This is the perfect selection to shoot your shot with a crush, and Moon River Opera would be happy to deliver it 💕

While we’ve talked a lot about how accessible our virtual valentines are (that can be bundled for a discount!) locals to Savannah, Georgia will be thrilled to know that we also offer in person singing valentines within the area!

Love really can be a cure! Researchers at the University of Arizona found that there are multiple positive impacts experienced by people who both give and receive affectionate communication. We turned them into easy infographic for your viewing pleasure!

Frankly, you can’t get more affectionate than a (virtually) hand delivered Moon River Opera singing valentine performed by a professional musician. So lucky you that there are still two more days left until the big day; that means two more days to visit our website and put your order in 💌

Get your affectionate communication on, it’s literally healing!!

One of the best things about Valentine’s Day is that the love is for everyone! 🥰

Even if you’ve outgrown the decorated tissue box you made in class, you can still send a valentine to mom, dad, your siblings, best friends, neighbors, coworkers (check with HR first) and of course, your partner.

That’s why Moon River Opera offers a bundle of 2 for $25 of our virtual singing valentines because we love love and love savings 💰

Ever wonder why you see lace lined around hearts for Valentine’s Day? That’s because it’s symbolic - lace comes from the Latin word “lacere” which translates to “ensnare or entice”, so the sender wishes capture your heart ❤️

A great operatic moment of ensnarement is Susanna’s aria to lure in Count Almaviva as part of her and the Countess’s plan. Here offers us a rendition of “Deh vieni”, beckoning us to come enjoy the murmuring stream and be crowned with roses. Outside of the trapping context this is one romantic song! 🌹

If you haven’t ordered your Moon River Opera singing valentine yet you still have until February 13th but remember the early bird gets the worm (or the one who orders in advance doesn’t have to last minute stress)!

How often do find yourself *really* listening to the lyrics of music? Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal but if you’re making a song request for your Moon River Opera singing valentine we want you to know what you’re choosing!

Some of the “love” songs listed above may be surprising so we recommend looking up a song first or email us at [email protected] for any questions or concerns.

(Also if you want a good laugh, look up “You’re Beautiful groan tube cover, you’re welcome!)

If you’re not feeling romantic this season of love Moon River Opera has the perfect solution for you: vinegar valentines! Victorians would send each other postcards of insulting caricatures or poems for Valentines Day for laughs and you can do that too with one of our singing valentines.

A perfect example of what you can choose as a vinegar Valentine is “When You Are Old and Gray” by the hilarious Tom Lehrer. Because nothing is hotter than letting your partner know that your love is conditional 🥰

Order yours on our website now!
