Here are some pictures from our Birding Adventure with students from Butler Elementary School! The students had a wonderful time learning about birds and other wildlife, including the pictured Yellow-bellied Slider! 🐢Through hands-on exploration (scavenger hunt) and observation, students discovered the importance of local habitats and the amazing animals that call them home.

We loved sharing this outdoor learning experience and inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards! 🌿🦅🐢

What a wonderful time we had during our lesson with the Pre-K students from Butler Elementary School for ! 🐟🌊

It's at Butterbean Beach! 🐟Here, students from Robert W. Gadsden Elementary School visited three stations: The beach, the floating dock, and the salt marsh - to take biological and chemical samples of the water and record observations /measurements.

What an incredible two days we had last week with Savannah Country Day School's Mini-mester students! We explored the salt marsh by kayak and ventured out by boat to Wassaw Island, where Kristen from the Caretta Research Project led a hands-on Loggerhead Sea Turtle experience - an unforgettable opportunity for these students!🐢💚

Last Friday, these students from Georgetown K-8 had a blast diving into hands-on discoveries with WiSE, including uncovering a fossilized crab claw! 🦀 ☀️🌊 Thank you, City of Savannah Government for supporting , our dynamic environmental education program!
