Thanks to leadership from All Star Children's Foundation, our team is grateful to be part of the ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) Framework Learning Collaborative! We're delighted to link arms with many other caring agencies as we strive for a more trauma-informed community and develop shared language across organizations. We look forward to seeing how the ARC framework will strengthen our toolbox as we work with children and families.

We're grateful to the Bishop-Parker Foundation for helping advance trauma-informed work in our community!

When a child enters foster care, they often leave behind everything familiar, including the people they love most.

While foster care provides safety during a time of crisis, the hope is always that families can heal, grow, and, when it is safe to do so, be reunited. Because no matter how difficult the circumstances, the bond between a child and their family is powerful.

This National Reunification Month, we honor the hard work of children, parents, foster parents, and professionals who walk alongside families on that journey. At All Star Children's Foundation, we believe every child deserves the chance to maintain meaningful connections, experience healing, and find a path toward belonging.

Every child deserves a community that shows up for them.

In Episode 7 of Inside All Star, Peter Mutabazi explores the many ways people can get involved in creating brighter futures for children and families impacted by foster care. Whether you become a foster parent, volunteer your time, support our programs, or help spread awareness, every role matters.

Change happens when a community comes together.

Watch Episode 7 of Inside All Star and discover how you can be part of the mission.

Healing doesn’t happen in a single moment. It happens through relationships built over time.

In Episode 6 of Inside All Star, Peter Mutabazi explores the power of long-term connections and why consistent, caring adults can make all the difference for a child in foster care.

At All Star Children’s Foundation, we believe every child deserves more than a safe place to stay. They deserve people who show up, stay connected, and help them believe in their future.

Watch Episode 6 of Inside All Star and see how relationships can help change a child’s story.

Episode 5 of Inside All Star shares something every child in foster care deserves: the chance to safely reconnect, heal, and move forward with family.

Reunification is at the heart of foster care. It takes patience, support, trust, and a community willing to walk alongside children and parents through incredibly difficult moments.

At All Star Children’s Foundation, we believe healing happens when families are given the tools, support, and relationships needed to create lasting stability. Through trauma informed care, birth family engagement, mental health services, and collaboration, we work to help families move toward brighter futures together.

Thank you to Foster Dad Flipper for helping shine a light on stories like these during National Foster Care Month.

Day 1 of the ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) Framework Learning Collaborative is underway. We’re proud to bring together partners from across our community, including The Florida Center for Early Childhood, Family Initiative, Inc., Harbor58, and Easterseals , as we continue strengthening trauma-informed care for children and families in our community.

Real change happens when organizations come together to learn, collaborate, and build better systems of support for children in foster care and beyond. đź’«

Special thanks to the Bishop-Parker Foundation for helping us advance trauma-informed work in our community!

Episode 4 of Inside All Star with Peter Mutabazi takes a closer look at the essential services that help children and families in foster care begin to heal.

At All Star Children’s Foundation, support goes far beyond a safe place to stay. Through trauma-informed mental health care, assessments, case management, caregiver support, and multidisciplinary services, we work to help children feel seen, understood, and connected to the care they need to move forward.

Healing happens through relationships, stability, and access to the right support at the right time.

Follow along with Inside All Star throughout National Foster Care Month as we continue sharing what it truly takes to build brighter futures for children in foster care.

Episode 3 of Inside All Star takes you inside All Star Children’s Foundation’s Campus of Hope & Healing. 💙

Joined by foster care advocate Peter Mutabazi, also known as Foster Dad Flipper, we’re giving a closer look at the spaces where children in foster care are met with safety, connection, and trauma-informed support.

From our foster homes to our mental health treatment and assessment center, and park-like atmosphere, every part of this campus was built to help children feel seen, supported, and cared for as they heal.

This is what hope and healing can look like in foster care.

Episode 2 of Inside All Star with Peter Mutabazi đź’™

When Graci and Dennis McGillicuddy founded All Star Children’s Foundation, the goal was clear: help break the intergenerational cycle of abuse and neglect by making sure children in foster care receive the support they need as early as possible.

Too often, children enter foster care carrying deep trauma without access to the services that can help them heal. At All Star, we believe early intervention, trauma informed care, and compassionate support can change the trajectory of a child’s life.

Because healing cannot wait. And every child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, and hopeful for the future.

A huge thank you to American Legion Post 30 for bringing so much joy to our campus children with the donation of 10 ride-on toys. Moments like these give kids the chance to simply be kids, creating laughter, play, and bright memories along the way. 🩵
