The Jazz Club lost a beloved friend this past Sunday, Carlos Pagan. He was the founder of Metropics Radio and a member of the Jazz Club's Board of Directors for a number of years. Carlos career included producing and hosting programs for PBS, CNBC and the Travel Channel earning five regional Emmy Awards. His Metropics Radio streamed throughout he world and he was an on-air broadcaster, programmer and community advocate for WSLR radio. Sincere condolences to his wife Wendy, his family and many friends. Rest in Peace, Carlos; you will be missed.

The next Monday Night Jazz at FST's Court Cabaret features the Thomas Carabasi New Jazz Standards Quartet on June 8.- https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mnjc-thomas-carabasi-tickets-1988266939940 - The band features Alejandro Arenas on bass, Patrick Bettison on keyboard, Perry Childs on sax and flute, and Carabasi on drums. Only 10 seats remain.
