The Girls Inc. Experience: Sustained Exposure

Because meaningful growth doesn’t happen in a single program, a single conversation, or a single day.

It happens when girls have the opportunity to return, build relationships, practice new skills, take on new challenges, and keep growing - year after year.

And the research backs it up: 19 outcomes showed significant impact after one year. After two years, that number grew to 23.

The longer girls experience Girls Inc., the more opportunities they have to become Strong, Smart & Bold.

Because meaningful growth doesn’t happen in a single program, a single conversation, or a single day.

When we say we are Growing the Girl...we mean it.

And we are so thankful to our August Match partners at Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation, and an anonymous donor for making sure they can accomplish anything.

When you donate in August, your dollar will double:

23 out of 27 measured outcomes showed more positive results for Girls Inc. girls than their peers.

What we teach matters.
And how we teach it matters, too.

Our activities aren't just interactive, they are research-based and developmentally appropriate lessons that help our girls connect their today with their tomorrow.

The Girls Inc. Experience is built to work. And it does.

And thanks to Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation and an anonymous donor, we can make that work even stronger. For the month of August, all donations are matched up to $150,000.

Girls don’t just learn by listening. They learn by doing.

They build. They experiment. They create. They problem-solve.

They get messy, try something new, make mistakes - and try again. It's by design.

At Girls Inc., learning is hands-on, engaging, and intentially designed to make girls active participants in their own growth.

Because when girls do it themselves, they start to believe: I can do this. And when they believe they can, they do.

Even if it's tagging a shark...

But not without you. And thanks to Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation, and an anonymous donor - your support goes further than ever during our August Match Campaign.

The Girls Inc. Experience - it's not just a buzzword...it's a formula.

Because sometimes, what a girl needs most is a grown-up who sees her potential before she can see it herself.

Someone who listens, believes in her, challenges her to think bigger.

Someone who shows up - again and again.

At Girls Inc., relationships are at the heart of what we do, and how we do it.

With your support, we can do even more. Thanks to Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation and an anonymous donor, every donation is doubled.

Eureka! STEM gives girls opportunities for career exploration, hands-on activities, and physical activity, while also teaching them valuable mindfulness skills.

This Summer, we partnered with Ringling Museum for a Mindfulness in the Museum program for our girls. Over four weeks, the girls were able to really get a look into how to be mindful, how to be creative, express themselves, forget about stress, and focus on their well-being.

Ames, who leads the program, gave the girls insight on how to help themselves in stressful situations, the benefits of visual journaling, and how looking at art in different ways can help us understand and express different emotions, and so much more. As our girls prepare for high school, careers, friendships, and more, we are proud they are learning to use mindfulness as a skill, wherever life takes them!🌷🎨
