Santa Barbara County's Hispanic and Latino heritage goes back centuries and grows as new families make their home here. This Hispanic Heritage Month, we're highlighting partners who strengthen and support our community.

Founded in 2018 after the Thomas Fire and Montecito debris flow to support undocumented families excluded from disaster relief, 805 UndocuFund expanded its services for immigrant families, providing financial assistance, rights education, volunteer training, and other resources. Thank you, 805 UndocuFund, for your long-standing support in times of crisis!

The Immigrant Legal Defense Center (ILDC) provides free legal representation, case management, and trauma-informed counseling to immigrants throughout Santa Barbara County, helping ensure due process while supporting the stability and well-being of immigrant families. Thank you, ILDC, for protecting and supporting immigrant families in our community!

This past month our dental clinic was thrilled to receive brand new equipment! We are so grateful to the Santa Barbara Foundation's Small Capacity-Building grant for allowing us to make these important purchases. Having up to date dental equipment is an essential component of the dental office providing the most accurate care to our patients and we couldn't do it without our amazing community.

A new "State of the Digital Divide" study confirms 34,000 Santa Barbara County residents, about 8% of the county's population, lack home internet or computer access. The Towbes Fund for the Performing Arts is now open for applications! This grant supports nonprofit organizations that bring high-quality performing arts opportunities to our community, with awards of up to $15,000 available.
