CALM CALM envisions safe communities where every family is supported and every child thrives. Jackie was not ready to become a parent.

Imagine a world where all parents are supported and all children thrive. After her baby was born, she was so depressed, she didn't want to leave the house. She could barely look at her baby, and resented him every time he cried. Fortunately, a CALM home visitor met Jackie and got her help for her depression. The CALM worker taught Jackie how important speaking, singing and reading is to her baby's developing brain. Jackie learned about child development and appropriate expectations. Today, Jackie and her son have a happy, healthy relations and they are both thriving. CALM....protecting the most important relationship in the world.
